Lehmann has been in great form the past 12-15 months, he'll do well for you. Vieira alongside Gilberto, with Beckham on the right, and Zidane left central. Drop Giggs. Totti just behind Trez. Have you still got Placente? If so, stick him at left back, rather than Silvestre. Cordoba and Samuel is an excellent partnership, speed and aggression mixed with toughness and more aggression :tongue:

I will be posting the Matchday 10 League fixtures in the next hour.

My match against Minof is being delayed until mid-week.

I noticed a couple of people have suspended players on their bench, which is not allowed. On this occasion, for the sake of the Fantasy League, the games will go ahead, but if it happens again, the matches will be delayed, and the responsible team(s) will be penalised. It may sound petty, but the rules are suspended players should be completely removed from the matchday squad, and there's the possiblity that seeing talented players on the bench could swing close contests.

I haven't spoke to Victor to confirm this, but I assume today we'll be playing the D1/2 Cup fixtures, as we missed out a round. There have been some problems with the fixtures, and it's lagging behind now, plus the squad rotation stats haven't been updated. If you want to make any changes, make sure your Cup formation is updated.

We could create a rule where each team needs to make a certain amount of changes for the second leg, but even if we don't do that, i'd expect a manager of a team trailing would want to change their lineup in an attempt to rectify things. I'll be making several changes in the second leg, no matter the outcome of the first leg.

Changing formations is fine but if, let's say, a team is beaten easily in the first game I doubt even positive changes in formation will be enough to get any more than a draw in the second leg.

The two game tie is a nice idea but it will only work if some fairly significant rotation is introduced, i.e. 5 players or thereabouts being replaced.

It's alright, the match won't go to penalties. It goes down as 3-2 to Nikos (after extra-time) as the only way games go to penalties in the WCL Knockout stages are if the game is a dead heat (ie 10-10).
