April's Goal of the Month competition has now closed. And you can now vote for the winner. There were lots of good entries, but the GOTM team has narrowed it down to these fine five efforts.

It's Andriy not Andrei
And he scored a similar goal vs. Juve in 2001 (if I'm not mistaken).

well first off i am very disapointed my goal wasnt here, scored with paul scholes from a free kick just past the half way circle which makes goals number 2 on this look very weak however i will stop my whining and bad spelling and vote for shevchenko

Ah yes, that was a great strike. From the side he fired it in, keeper didnt know what hit him.

I'd have to say Mendieta's goal was the best. However the six stars thing makes no difference as you can set it to six stars while playing a friend who could easily be bringing out the keeper etc. Kezman's goal for example was a bit suspect.

i was wondering if people would say who scored which goal. Was impressed with the way it was put together, when can we start sending in entries for GOTM May? Will there even be one or is this still undecided?

The mendieta volley was definately a stunner, but in the end there's nothing really special about it, just happened to hit it just right... sooo, went with the cheeky drogba bicycle kick.

All golas are great, but my vote goes to Drogba because it's the hardest move to do in PES games (chest and overhead).

Its really tough. Drogba's goal is specially difficult to perform imo. Its always hard inside the box. But Mendieta's strike is truly a thing of beauty. Its the first time i see this GOTM thing...ill be sending a few of my babies for next months.

It has to be Mendieta that takes it for me. I haven't really seen Drogba's effort credited much when in fact it's rarely an occurance to see a realistic over-head kick such as that. Anywho its very obvious whos won it though.

Mendietas goal takes it for me, though there was no one closing him down and he had about ten years to take it, it was still the most purely hit and the goalkeeper never looked silly when trying to save it, he was well beaten. Class A strike.

NO doubt about it mendieta goal now that is amazin. the other goals are just average a was quite dissapointed watchin that like, i expected better goals.
