I suppose it's a matter of taste, I think that red looks too bright. OH and could you please not refer to it as grungy it makes me think of Nirvana, which is never nice now is it? Sombre, much better word :D

It's not a set effect, it's a combination of effects in Photoshop I just threw together to get the end result. If it is known as Grunge, I didn't know that.

Soundgarden are the best out of the trio of RATM, Audioslave and Soundgarden in my opinion.

I dont like Velvet Revolver either,although some songs are quite good, the sig looks cool.
The brighter version looks good as well, but the dark effect quite fits with the band.
