I don't even think it's both of them. That's way to less money for him.
It was meant to be a one-year loan last I heard.

Qute from the Sun this morning -
"Luque, who opted to sign for Newcastle despite interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, insisted: “I believe this move is the best for everybody." No offence to Newcastle fans but why would you choose Newcastle over Real and Barcelona? it also said that Souness was still confidant of capturing Owen...... Good Luck!

First team football maybe? He's not going to start ahead of Ronaldo, Raul, Robinho and Owen.

I dont see why Juventus haven't went for Owen, with Del Piero's powers diminishing rapidly they could do with a quick striker up front with Ibrahimovic or Trezeguet.
because they've got Mutu as well
because they've got Mutu as well
And do they believe Owen would be successful in Serie A? It's completely different to both the Premiership and La Liga. None of the big three showed even any remote interest in Owen recently. You'd have to ask them exactly why, although with Inter its obvious why not.
