Good match here. I think individually Phatmann just sneaks it, although i'm not too keen on the shape of the midfield.

Pier has a good formation, but i think there's too much upfront for Phatty boom boom for Pier's defence to cope with...

I think this is a very close match. Very equal teams but I think Phatmann wins just because of the presence of Kaka who will be between that backline and the midfield and will sneak passes through to the 3 strikers who will finish. Hasn't got the best defense in the league (but neither has Pier). Pier has good defensive midfield capabilites but perhaps still needing something extra. Phat win.

Very close match, but I'll go for Pier.

Pier's defence is just sufficient to stop Phat's attack, which doesn't have a world-class targetman. In midfield Phat has more creativity in Kaka, but Pier also has Emerson and his fellow midfielders to drive them forward.

Phat's defence is better than average, all-rounded with a good keeper, but Ronaldo's runs and Adriano's trickery would keep them on their toes.

Pier I think would win as the power of Terry and Hyypia won't show against guys like Adriano, Ronaldo and Baptista, who when on the ball are solid. Also Phat's formation is a bit iffy and doesn't really benefit guys like Owen or Kaka. Shouldn't have sold Sheva mate.

I think Pier will edge this. The pace and power of Ronaldo, Adriano and Baptista will be a problem for any defence, and Adriano and Baptista if he gets forward enough will be able to get as many headers as the defence and then flick it on for Ronaldo, or possibly Adriano, and the pace would sewt them free. The full backs will get caught out, but I think Phatmann's narrow formation and lack of wingers will not expose this. Emerson and Gilberto will also provide enough cover through the middle.

As for Phatmann, I think the front three is slightly wrong. The two out and out strikers are playing wide, and Gudjohnsen, who isn't, is playing in the middle. If Phat plays with those three, Gudjohnsen should play behind the other two.
