Zygalski

I presume the kits are as good as possible as made in edit mode.

These do not have any kits on them whatsoever. No Flags, and No Emblems.

This goes with the PS2 British Option File patch, meaning kits etc. are already on the patch, this only has the names of each player and correct stadium names.

I got my max drive today and had my first play on this with the option file and I have to say I am really dissapointed. Maybe I was expecting a bit too much but the data, especially for non-premiership Engish clubs, is terrible. I don't want to offend anyone because I know alot of hard work must of gone into the file and patch but if you're gonna do something you might as well do it properly.

For example, Ipswich's best midfielder is Sammy Moore, a player who is known by about 20% of Ipswich fans, a player that is nowhere near even breaking into the first team. Theres an awful lot of appearence mistakes with players having completely different looks than in real life, nationalities are wrong all over, one from Ipswich being De Vos from Thahiti! and most importantly the stats are all wrong. For instance Westlake is right footed, Naylor is a striker, Currie and Magilton can't take set pieces (actually that's probably right) and this is just for Ipswich there are loads for other teams as well!

Saying that though the kits and badges are spot on, although the stadiums are a little dubious (e.g. just renaming any old stadium White hart lane even though it looks nothing like it, the same goes for many others), but if you want this patch to be anywhere near realistic alot of editing is still needed, personally I'm not gonna bother, I'd rather use Jonboyo's patch and wait for the PLF patch then create Ipswich onto that.

I do apologise, but judging that I posted this the first day of June, I think it's obvious that its for Pro Evo.

Anyway, I'm sorry. It is for PES4.

Thanks

Has anyone made a new Patch and option file for Pes5?

There are different patches and option files but I don't think any are exactly the same as this one.

Man, that is a shame - this was an awesome patch for us fans of real clubs ;¬)

Any way of salvaging any of the kits/data and upgrading for PES5?

Zygalski

An option file is not a patch. Go look in the PS2 section to see what a patch is. A 1.2MB option file is very different to a 500MB patch.

Doubt you can transfer the kits from a different game over but you could get together with the people who made this file or some new people who are willing to work together to make one for PES5.
