A very reliable friend of mine has just informed me that Rivaldo walked out of AC Milan yesterday and is quitting the club wanting to go back to Brazil or move to England. If u remeber last season he wanted to come to Liverpool but houllier could'nt afford his wages, so spurs might be able to tempt him, but i doubt he go spurs after all who would?

I've just seen this on www.planetfootball.com
What a pointless move it's turned out to be. He's hardly played since Milan signed him! I'm not suprised he wants out.

I think it's a case of his face does'nt fit. As he has had more than one falling out with the current manager. I wonder who will sign him, somebody could buy him now, if his contract is terminated.

I heard tonnes of stuff about this, it's really stupid, supposedly Celtic were gonna sign him! Lmfao! Don't see that happening! If anyone in England signs him, will be Man United or Chelsea, probably the only twon who can afford his wages.

Definitely Maybe

We all know hes a good player, but he hasnt done it (regulary) for about 2-3 years. If he goes to England I can only see him joining the likes of Spurs, Charlton, Man City, etc.

Hmm...Charlton, Spurs? I just can't see that happening (and don't want him joing the Scum anyway). Manchester City sounds feasible but they already have a packed midfield and the pairing up front is doing well, especially Anelka, who's on fire. I wouldn't pass up a Rivaldo on my team though.

Maybe Wolves have a chance. :)

I can't see Rivaldo coming to the Prem. I think that if he was to come here, it would be to Chelsea. I don't think Man Utd would be interested in him and Rivaldo certainally wouldn't fancy joining Charlton or Spurs! His wage demands would be too high for them anyway.

he's too slow to play in the premiership and probably too old

He'll probably go back to Spain and join an up and coming club like Real Sociedad.

A few teams have approached him but he has decided to stay with AC Milan. The least expected outcome!

What I found most odd about this Rivaldo situation is that AC Milan officially released information stating Rivaldo had been released, before they then went back on their own words and claimed they'd never said it.

If you'd never said it, why did you release official information, and why was Rivaldo himself discussion other clubs he'd like to move to? Milan are fools.

He was a subsitute today against CV. Looked average, like much of the match. I was too busy watching Stuttgart and Man Utd. anyway. :)

Rivaldo says he would like to go to chelsea! any club he signs for will be stranded as they cant use him in any European Cups.

He's staying at Milan, though...
