After this e-mail was sent into Chelsea TV, Chelsea fans have begun to stop buying the Sun it is wrecking our reputation as a club and we should display our outrage.

I think that as a group of fans I believe we should all boycott buying The Sun newspaper, it is their fault that the Ashley Cole story got this far, and their constant stirring of rumours with no hard evidence, we were made to look like criminals, my family as Chelsea fans will no longer buy the Sun newspaper as today they believed it to be important to put the cost of having a photo done with the trophies as front page news. Now either there was nothing going on that was worthy of the front page, but more likely the Sun decided to try and add to the long list of hateful stories associated with our football club started by them and their ‘reporters’. After the Barcelona game we were deemed criminals as E’to claimed he was racially abused by a steward. Whether this was true or not, The Sun decided to fully back the Barcelona players in condemning Chelsea even though Barcalona smashed a drinks machine because they were bitter, and in my book that’s vandalism. Constant stories of us tapping up players, claiming that we could be docked points was all brought to the public by stories of lies from The Sun and the News of the World, which has lead to this happening. So I think as a club, the players, fans, staff and everyone associated should boycott buying the Sun as it is the Sun who are ruining our reputation as a club.

Why buy a newspaper if you have the internet anyway? Seriously...

Hold on... Its there fault the Ashley Cole story got this far? Did they tap him up like?

Its like commiting a crime then saying your going to boycott the police for arresting you.

Regardless that Chelsea should be considered as the guilty party, The Sun is the filthiest, scumiest newspaper to ever appear on the face of the planet.

For once, The Sun seems to have actually printed the truth (SHOCK!-AWE!), and suddenly, everyone is outraged(!) :)

Okay, so let me get this straight....all and all the Sun would lose about 500 readers?

If the average Chelsea season ticket holder reads the Sun I would be amazed anyway - you have to be quite well off to go to Stamnford Bridge so boycotting the the Times or the Financial Times would be more significant

After this e-mail was sent into Chelsea TV, Chelsea fans have begun to stop buying the Sun it is wrecking our reputation as a club and we should display our outrage.

Are you suggesting that newspapers should refrain from printing the truth if it adversly effects someones reputation irrespective of the fact that a wrong was committed?

I think that as a group of fans I believe we should all boycott buying The Sun newspaper, it is their fault that the Ashley Cole story got this far, and their constant stirring of rumours with no hard evidence, we were made to look like criminals

Hell, maybe the Yorkshire ripper should go on hunger strike for the "nasty stories" he tabloids were printing about him. Your disregard for the dictates of commonsense is astonishing.

my family as Chelsea fans will no longer buy the Sun newspaper as today

Boo hoo. I am sure the Sun's editor's are going to miss you and your family's "hefty contribution" to the coffers. I find it hard to believe that many other Chelsea fans are as equally naive as you.

After the Barcelona game we were deemed criminals

I want you to display a link to a story in which the Sun labelled Chelsea as a single entity "criminal."

So I think as a club, the players, fans, staff and everyone associated should boycott buying the Sun as it is the Sun who are ruining our reputation as a club.

Until you cough up evidence which is capable of surviving the necessary cross checks, your demands are unreasonable. What colour is the sky in your world?
