I think it's better for you jack to put rivaldo in belleti's current role and get denilson outta the bench to play in rivaldo's previous role. ronaldo and adriano would have few probs as nesta's right in front of em, and I guess that's why gilberto's there. as for james's team figo wont have the chance to go through carlos, henry and trezeguet we'll findd themselves facin two of the best defenders ever, lucio and junior and they both are strong and fast. pirlo and gilberto take eachother out.

I voted for myself as I personally feel:

*Henry, Reyes and Cole would provide the right-back Juan with major problems down the left side and carve open chances for Trezeguet to stick away.

*Ashley Cole could take Belleti out of the match.

*Freidrich would be able to stop Rivaldo down the left. If his good enough to mark Robben out of the game for 90 mins as in Euro 2004, he shouldn't have many problems against Rivaldo who isn't at his best on the wing and wouldn't have enough pace to get past the German.

*While the midfield battle would be very close, Pirlo's range of passing and Essien's energy bombing forward could edge it in my team's favour, as Emerson and Gilberto do not provide much threat going forward.

*Reyes and Figo are better wingers than Rivaldo and Belleti.

*Hildebrand is a better keeper than Gomes.

*The backline with Pirlo and Essien shielding it is good enough to restrict Ronaldo and Adriano up-front to a limited number of chances. With Chivu being quick and left footed, Adriano may have to cut inside with him being the right sided forward, and by this time could be crowded out, and there would no better defender than Alessandro Nesta to mark Ronaldo.

Why do you have Belletti on the right wing? I think you should try to put Baptista in there somewhere. Also, I think dropping Rivaldo may be a good choice. Possibily putting up Denilson or Alex.

Sometimes , rijkaard puts belleti as right winger , and he does really good there . Rivaldo is still on form , and he is still very good . very dangerous on the left and still scoring goals from free kicks and everything for olympiakos , Emerson will be the ball winner and Gilberto can pass real well . i dun need to say much abt Ronaldo and Adriano . i used Roque Junior cuz he's tall and he's still one of those good defenders , he can head away balls

Roque Junior, maybe not the best defender ever but he's still a top-class centre-back. To some of you he might have performed poorly for Brazil, that's 'cos he was playing in a 3-men defence. Didn't have the help of another centre-back.

I've never seen Belletti on the right wing. Who was playing rb then?

Anyways, I never said he wasn't good. Just not one of the best defenders ever. I still think Roque has a few holes in his skills, but he can only get better. :) Like every other player.

Pier- I only said to drop Rivaldo because I don't think anyone knows how he's playing. Atleast I don't.

Anyways. After seeing Brasil loose to Argentina I lost a bit of respect for them. Really poor defending.

This is my first post , i think that pier69 have better forwards and a solid midfield , plus his defence is good , why no one mentions roberto carlos? Moreover pier69 has a better midfield , better attackers and not to mention better defence.

He's good anywhere in the midfield and up top.
