"25th September a week today 11:59pm, that way I can have them all sorted by the 1st."

I know that most of us don't have WE7 or PES3 but almost all of the stats are the same as before and need a little jiggery pokery to make them suitable for PES3.

This contains EVERYTHING that you need to know including the Word and Excel files to help you create yourselves. The Excel file calculates your points total for you so download it and use it. You can email me the Excel file or the Word file with your stats. Don't worry too much about the player appearances just yet. Those with the games can help you to sort that a little later on.

There is not really a both footed option. You choose your stronger foot and give a rating out of 8 for the weaker one. My left foot rating is 7 so I guess I could play on the left side of midfield, or the wing.
Maybe we'll be restricted on the left side like England.
I don't think it should really make that much of a difference what footed someone is. As long as most of the positions are covered.

PP, I would have thought a good keeper needs good stats for:

Technique - to have better control on all touches of the ball, inc back-passes.

Short pass Acc - to keep those passes to the defence away from the opposition.

Apart from that, looks good to me. Appreciate you doing this mate.

Sounds good. Any suggestions on what should be sacrificed, then? I suppose Curve isn't entirely neccesary. It's at 65 right now. If I drop it to 30, I'll be left with 35 of which 15 could be used for Short Pass Acc. making that 80.

And that would leave me with 20 which would go to Technique making that 50. I'm thinking that's not adequate. Agree?

Long Pass Speed - I'm not a fan of this one as it doesn't seem to make too much difference. Check out how the best keepers in the game are doing for this. I think this could go down to 60-70 maybe?

Will a keeper need shooting stats? Is there much difference between having them at 45 or at 30? Potential for extra points there. Although the Shot Technique maybe shouldn't be too low. The other 2 can go down methinks.

Hey, no worries mate. Good to see you around. Good thinking there. I've been busy with trying to fix the option file lately but I'll get onto that this weekend and let you know how it goes.
I'll take a look and then consult with the assistant as to how we think the team should look.

Plus we'll run it by you guys too (although the opposition could also look and find some weaknesses so we'll probably do it by email or something).
We may need some 'intel' on our opposition too. I saw that pesfan have more than one team which should be interesting. If anyone wants to check them out and spy on them, that could help a bit ;)

I'll create all the basic formations that we may need such as 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3, 3-4-3 and anything else anyone suggests. I'll fix it so that we know what every player is up to for each formation, like who stays back and who rushes forward, that kind of thing. Then we'll play some practice matches against the CPU to see what systems get us more success. If anyone else has done this already, feel free to give us some insight on the methods used and which ones work well. I'll send the formation data as an X-Port file to mikeom1 so that nothing is lost and so he isn't troubled too much as well. We should probably create a new thread to discuss formations, line-ups and tactics as they do seem to work a little differently in PES3.
