Figo for me, but only just. I think his midfield is slightly stronger, but I do think Torres should come in for Hasselbaink.

Phat's backline and keeper is better. Makaay and Hasslebaink aren't going to get through. Zlatan and Owen up front, deadly. Helguera and Thuram would be in trouble. Riise and Giggs on the left would cause havoc down the left Ferreira and C. Ronaldo wouldn't know what to do. :) Giggs taught C. Ronaldo all he knows. :cool: :laugh:

Though, Figo you've got a very nice strong midfield. I do think that Phat has got a creative master minded behind his strikers so he may have the advantage. Gattuso, Seedorf, and Kaka, 3/4 of Milan's midfield... we all know how well they function. :) Giggs would just help it out more. :)

I've gone for Figo's team, that 4 man midfield of C.ronaldo,lampard,gerrard and duff just edges it for me :)

Phat's team for me. Although Figo has Gerrard and Lampard in central midfield, Phat would win. Think about this: Kaka, arguably the greatest player in the world at the moment, second to Ronaldinho. He will have acres of space as Gerrard and Lampard will bomb forward. Now the first person to say that one will stay back is talking bull. Kaka will absolutely demolish a rather lackluster defence because there is no cover.

Phat, however has a dogged player in Gattuso which Figo's midfield lacks. Even a player that isn't a gritty player that just sits there would do a good job for Figs.

Ibrahimovic and Owen will cause slightly more trouble than Have-a-wank and Makaay...

The opinion I have on Lampard and Gerrard is that they are too similar players. People say it's a great patnership for England but they don't cut it together. They are both attack minded players, it's just that Gerrard isn't given the freedom of attacking that Lampard gets for Chelsea (because Lampard has 2 defensive midfielders behind, whereas Gerrard only has Hamann). There's my opinion on the 2 together.

I completely agree with Lorenzinho and Haribo, despite Gerrard and Lampard both being great players, they do not work well as a partnership and would give Kaka far too much room to perform, and with Zlatan and Owen up-front, they have the men to put the chances Kaka creates away. Phat for me.
