Shouldn't about 4 Arsenal players have been sent off after the game for what they did to RVN?

Oh, btw, wrong forum.

(moved to the footie section)

Didn't sound like a very pleasant match.

I watched it and to be honest a draw was fair. Neither team really seemed to ad/venture far and they just seemed to want to get niggly.

Vieria shouldnt have been sent off but the arsenal players shouldnt have roughed up RVN. Justice in the peno incident i guess.

It was actually a foul against Viera but it was his reaction that got him sent off. For that he should have gone.

Depends how you look at it. Arsenal didn't have a shot on target all game. Their players' conduct was appaulling. I hope they get what's coming to them.

No, but does that make him a 'cheat?' Did Vieira kick out at him with intent? Yes. I find it irritating that all Arsenal followers do is focus on how Ruud is a cheat, as if their players have done nothing wrong. "You should punish the source" He and Vieira both got yellows, except Vieira already had one so bye bye Vieira. Let us not forget that under extreme provocation VN just walked away. Even Keane acted calmly. Not quite sure what to make of that one!

What was worse? What VN did or what Keown did? I wouldn't expect to see that kind of behaviour in an U11s Sunday league match - although now we probably will 'cause Arsenal are setting a bad example and blaming something else.

And as I said somewhere b4, Pires has been accused of diving and "cheating" as badly as RVN and we do not see this kind of furore. Is it cos it's Arsenal or cos it's RVN/Man U?

Although I must note that there has been little accusation of RVN in the broadsheets but more reaction to him in the tabloids. Interesting socio-political comment or just the usual bollox?

Seems like there are 2 threads on the same topic. This one slightly favouring Man United and the other one is biased towards the Arsenal. Oh well....

"Arsenal Are Fuckin Cheats"

Yes, tremendous bias towards Arsenal. :)

Ok, seems like ur right Zyg. I may dislike Arse sometimes but then I do for Man U too. I always try and be objective for these things. They're both arseholes!!!! Except for Hoddle... who is the biggest f**kwit of all time!!!

Hey Rebus, who do you support?

I am not favouring Man Utd or Arsenal but it was a fair even result. The FA should punish arsenal for their immaturity at the end of the full 90 :p

Now that would be telling! I wish to be the voice of impartiality rather than be labelled by my allegiance to a club.

I know it's wanky, but I support football... the beautiful game... and dodgy pies @ half time and getting beaten up in the pub b4 or after or even during a game!

Not embarrassed at all. But I think it would undermine my position in trying to be impartial?
