DO NOT POST WAREZ RELATED MATERIAL ON THIS SITE. Any thread will be closed if they are found to contain any messages which shouldnt be there. Any discussion of warez, illegal copies etc. will result in an official warning, followed by a banning if it continues.

im sure you know that piracy is illegal though right? and downloading games is this.
discussion of patches etc. is fine obviously, but discussion of actually downloading or buying and selling of the game (cd-r versions) is not allowed.

i dont have time for spammers like him, i skipped the warning and immediatley banned him. i hope no1 has any problems with this ;)
but isn patching pes with real teams, names etc.. infringing on fifa copywrght etc.????
If so, its just as illegal as Warez. And this site seems to heavily promote this!

No-one is patching PES or PES2. Only WE6:FE.
And FIFA doesn't own the copyright to anything to do with these games.
The already contain the FIFpro licence.

Can someone tell how i download the patches and stick em my memory card pls (and can it in any way work in conjunction with what you've done on the option file?)
No mate you apply these patches to a backup copy of your game. There are some xport option files which you can download, but they are no where near the depth of editing that these boys are playing around with.

I have Xport and have used the download files, you get real names and maybe some transfer updates, but mikeom's right; with backup patched games you get EVERYTHING! From boots to balls!

dont worry about movies, im sure konami would rather you saw what their game looked like because you are more likely to buy it then. its just like screens really.
ah those kinds of movies, my bad :D
But you are right hitman there are all those rights and stuff that people tend to have to pay for, but again as they didn't throw a mental over the we6fe patched copy.

I know it's naughty but while I was away I bought a pirate copy of Reloaded and X2 on one DVD. I don't know if it works yet. Don't worry I won't do it again!

like you said, if you copy something for yourself its ok then selling cdrw is for backing up data easily etc and creating backups of your favourite discs.

come on now lads, lets give Konami their due and pay the whole price. they busted their 5'2" butts to produce a game that will give us infinite hours of enjoyment, the least we can do is pay the full price for a game that good. lets face it, this is going to be the greatest non-sexual thing a guy can have.

The best non-sexual things are Jack Daniels and Marihuana, PES3/WE7 is on 3rd position officially :). The problem is that you cannot pay for the game because it will be released in November and is officially not existing now. But I think most of the poeple will buy the original game too, Iīm going to buy the PC version which will be much cheaper in Germany.

Downloading the game is illegal as you haven't bought it. Patching a game is when you change some of the original games code. This should be done to a copy of the original that you bought. To make copies for your own use is not, as yet, illegal.
Just make sure you buy the game and then you can patch it as much as you like!
It's shawdy, with CM4, pretty much all ym mates have an illegal copy, it's just poor, not as if they can't afford the full price, thankfully illegal PS2 games are harder to create personally, so hopefully my mates will support Konami for a PES3.

I have a work colleague who is a huge fan of WE/pro evo but doesn't see anything wrong with downloading/copying these games, rather than paying for them.
Personally, I enjoy pro evo so much that i think i owe it to konami to pay them for making such a fantastic game. If everyone had pirated copies of WE/pro evo then Konami would simply stop making it.

Thatīs right, but Iīm not to sure about the patching stuff, it seems to be not quite legal, because in official forums like pesfan you are not allowed to speak about patching.

I think modification is obviously no where near as bad as downloading an illegal iso image of the game or copying the cd or even the dvd of the game!!! You are not damaging anything by putting official kits and players and teams.... no one is making or losing money so i think the banning of mods would be awful...

its because konami dont have the licences, and obviously the patchers dont have the licences. so its still illegal, only its copyright infringement rather than illegal downloads.

Yep ash ur correct its designed so that you can use ur memory card for millions of saves and get around the 8mb limitation of the memory cards.. I personally think its excellent...... I dont own one yet but watch this space...

Downloading stuff that you had not purchased is copyright infringment, same as modding something that needs a license, same as taking a "work of art" (which PES3 can be defined as one) and changing the original creator's creation....

Legal as far as you use it for legal stuff, I.E. = legal. Just think about a car - if u use it to run over someone and hurt them, u did an illegal thing. Would that mean that cars are illegal?
The moment you use the xport for illegal (copyright infringment) purposes, your action becomes illegal, not the Xport.

A bunch of wusses. There is nothing wrong about talking about patching. The site cannot be held liable for conversations regarding illegal matter. However, posting up links to patched up stuff is a bit more complicated, and must be done via private messages and emails and not via the site. Otherwise the site is also liable.

X-Port is not patching, and Konami says only patching stuff is not allowed so I donīt know exactly how they deal with it.
