For everyone who is interested, here is my last compi for PES4. Video is Xvid, 6:55 min, around 30mb, filefront. I could have done a better job with some of the editing, but I didn't have enough time, so I hope this will do. If you decide to watch, don't miss the last minute of the video :D

I recommend you download it on your hdd, because video contains some scenes that you'll maybe want to see again (fast paced scenes and the last minute scenes). It will save you from multiple downloading.

Wow that compilation is awesome. The comedy at the beginning was very funny and some the goals were very good. I really like how you edited it to make it look very professional. You really are very good at this computer graphics thingy. 5 start mate well done. And the ending cracked me up, 'western airlanes, the way to fly'.. i think i'm going to watch it again..

AMAZING.

There's too many things to mention but I'll have a stab at some:

- Fab Intro
- Some real laugh out loud moments in there. The first of its kind being the Roma player falling to the floor and then having the other player trip over him :D:D:D And the adverts at the end - FANTASTIC! :D
- You've put the clips/effects to fine use against the music
- Possibly the best display of quality goals from you yet. A few absolutely outstanding strikes. I'm loving the looping efforts. A favourite goal of mine is the Adriano strike starting at 3:17.

The Ronaldinho volley that was tipped onto the bar from the Adriano flick up assist would have been one of the best goals in history. :cool:

You never cease to amaze :)

I keep getting some sort of error message on the site when trying to download it. Maybe I'm being stupid but after clicking "Download now" and then clicking on a download link from one of the US servers, I get the message.

Ideas?

Stevie Baby, I've just tried downloading by clicking on the second link I provided, click "download now" and then on the first link (first server) and it works...
Just try again multiple times and it will work or try later.

7RONALDO7, drop shoulder is done by completely stopping the player and then you just HOLD R2 and double tap dir button up or down (it must be direction to the side of the player).

Yes i've done it again, i've done a sex wee because a was so excited, you my friend are a master, I give you 674 out of 10 for the video graphics and details and everything, your skill on PES is god like, I am an elite PES player but your about 10 ranks above, I would love to play you side by side and get piss on by your skills, I do think some of the keepers were contraversial, or maybe they were just shit, what did you use to edit the video, erm hows about list everything you used because i'm looking to make a comp and you have inspired me, F-F-F-Freestlyer :)

Wow the greatest compil ever!!!
But tell me, how did you do those longshots? I score longshots once or twice in a week, but you seem to do that all the time...what's the trick?
By the way, it must have taken loads of tries to do this compil...

No trick, these goals are the best that I scored in the last three months. This goals are not scored in one day mate. You just need to play (and don't forget to try longshots more often) ;)

Abaddon, I would really like to play with you too, but I have 56k modem (hoping to get something faster in a year time).
Goalkeepers? Well, what can I say - they are sometimes very bad, but that's not my fault, btw every goal in this compi is on 6* and I can back that up with original PC replay files. The problem is in keepers...
For editing I use Adobe After Effects 6.5 as a main editing program and other programs are Virtualdub, Cooleditpro, fraps... for sound editing, capturing etc.

Lesliect6, at 1:36 and 2:10 is double shotfake (square, R1, X pn PS2) combined with direction change and supercancel move for a brief moment (sometimes hard to pull off).
3:05 is supercancel feint on a keeper to trow him down and then R1 chip. Supercancel feint can be done when you DIDN'T YET recived the ball but it is rolling rigth beside your player and you hold R1+R2 and use dir keys to move the player around the ball, but WITHOUT actually taking the ball. If you go too near the ball you will collect the ball and it will be impossible to do that move.

And soundtrack is Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler :)

Definately. I will put together one compilation to display all my favourite pes4 goals and moments before the release of pes5! I intended on releasing one much earlier, but never got around to it! Just kept adding to a huge library of goals.

Can't wait for a new wave of pes5 goal compi's either, i plan to be more involved with my own goal comps next time around, really look forward to the next one you make too they're worth burning to DVD !!!

Haha, too bad about the slooo00w connection :( I'm nearly finished making a PES5 compi, entirely in After Effects, woohoo! (learned so much lately) It's going to be about 3minutes, because i margined out anything but fantastic goals. But short +sweet is the best.

I'm not sure how you put yours together, but at 3minutes and packed with timeremapping, effects and other things After Effects becomes a pain in the ass to use efficiently, with errors and freezes (that I'm successfully working around!)

I've got AMD64 3500+ 2.2ghz, 1gb Ram Dual channel and "ge4ce - ;) 6800GT" @1.2ghz

I'll get over the problems, but i was wondering if you're able to make 6:55 PES4_on_steroids_by_ge4ce Entirely in AE do you have a supercomputer or where you just fortunate to avoid any problems?

LOL, I don't have supercomputer. When I was making that movie I had AMD1.6XP, 512mb RAM, 60 gb hdd, ATI Raedon9000 :D.
Now I have AMD 2.5 Barton, 512 RAM, ATI Raedon 9800 128mb, 120 Gb hdd. Khm, and yes, 56k modem all the time :D :(

The trick is that you must have a lot of free space on your hdd (about 10 gigs is fine) and then after you apply all of the effects on your clips in the first minute or so, just prerender it with all of the effects and then use this prerendered clip instead of clips with live applyed effects.
After you create another minute of the movie just repeat the process, but DON'T use compression at all.
Btw, I don't recommend that you prerender sound in those clips. Leave sound as it is and render it at the end of editing process.

About your movie - I've downloaded 22 mb of it with getright, but now I can't continue to download - "The file was not found on the server..." error?? I'll try again later, if unsuccesfull I'll comment on this 22mb part anyway ;)

I'm also stuck with a 56k modem so I feel your pain. :) I still managed to get my new 29.5 MB compilation uploaded to megaupload. Took just over 3 hours which wasn't bad for dial-up. But then all the people with broadband told me it was downloading slow, (the nerve ;)) so I split the video into two parts and put it on turboupload. Here's the thread with the links:

Yeah, it can be reasonably quick sometimes, but more often is slow :(
Because of this, download often lasts for a few hours (compilations) and I'm not that much online daily, so I download with getright every day a bit (mostly 5-8mb a day). Problem is that sometimes link stops working and I can't continue to download, but for some strange reason I can download again from the start (unacceptable), but I can't continue where the download stopped ?!????

Anyway, I've started downloading your compi and when I get it I will comment in your thread ;)

Oh yeah, broadband people :D, they complain when the download speed is less than 20 kb/sec or so, while we "modem-guys" are super happy with 5 kb/sec :D

I can download from the start again, but I think the same thing would happen anyway and btw I'm on modem so it's a lot of work :(
I managed to download about 75% so I will put my comment in your thread. Hope that with your next compi I will not have the same problem with megaupload :)

When i release my (fantastic.. !) Goals Compilation I'll upload it everywhere pal;) (only thing holding me, Im polishing each frame 'til its mint!) - hopefully I'll find a host that doesn't freeze just before its done. I was on dial up, about 4 years ago.. haha! I remember the thrill with 5kbps, really.. really special :rolleyes:

My new compilation doesn't have the fancy effects as I only used Windows Movie maker, but the quality of goals is almost as good. There's a top corner half-volley Rabona from outside the penalty area, for instance. :)

AE6.5 is a lot harder to use than movie maker, but if you are willing to learn it's possible. I didn't know NOTHING about video editing when I started with this about two years ago, barely even movie maker and now I'm making compi's you see here. You must give it some time, it's not overnight knowledge :)

It's just a little harder to start, after that it get waaaay easier to do some basic stuff, even some advanced cool things.

You can get some great tutorial videos from www.lynda.com, but it's not free...

Hey ge4ce.

I love the compilation, some really wicked goals and moves in there. And the editing is just wonderful, aswell as the soundtrack.

I was hopeing though that you could answer a question I have.

In your compilation you can a couple of times see a player doing a move.

Basically, he stops with the ball by his feet, and then bodyfakes by taking a step to the side, and then moving back to the original position again. Meanwhile the ball is stationary and the player doesn't move it. I have never seen this move before and I have no idea how to do it. For easy reference, you can see this move at 4:50 in your video. I just canot believe that I have been playing PES for such a long time and never even accidentally performed this move.

If anyone knows how to do it, please share. :)

Stop the ball in front off the players feet, hold R2 then double tap the direction sideways of your player, left or right.

Btw, is this a recognized "move":

Pressing "Pass" button, as if you are going to do a normal pass to a teammate, then shortly before the player actually starts with the pass animation, pressing super cancel (R1 & R2 simultaneously). I did it on accident a while back. Basically the player just kicks the ball some distance in front of him on the ground, and he usually kicks it so it gets a little curl. I am not sure what the point of this move is, and it is very uncomfortable to perform on the Xbox.
