rivaldo was my favourite player when he first came onto the scene up until about 2003,i still regard him as one of my all time favourite players but at the present time i would say rooney,ronaldinho or zlatan.

Rivaldo was excellent till he moved to Milan, his hat-trick against Valencia at the Nou Camp to get Barca into the Champions League was amazing, esp his 3rd, overhead kick... belter!

By the way, he was just elected the best young player of the year, so there's no doubt at all that he's gifted and talented (even if some still disagree to something that is sooooo obvious... ;) ).

At the moment I'm keen on Essien he looks a great little player. But overall Makalele probably, the most under-rated player in the world aswell as the best holding midfielder in my opinion.

Favourite player at the moment has gotta be Ronaldinho..... love watchin him play, some of the tricks he does in a game r just awesome!! .. the guy is a genius.
Another player i used to love watchin play was Gianfranco Zola.
Zola was great to watch, the man was a little genious and I think he's Chelsea's best ever foreign player...

I have to agree. Zola was a master with the ball, assisting, scoring, passing, he has everything. Sad to see him leave Chelsea, was a huge influence with the team. only if Zola was 10 years younger...

My favorite players these says, which i enjoy watching inmensely, are Deco and Ronaldinho. If God really exists he willingly brought these two together. I also try to catch every Juve game because i think Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the best to ever grace the pitches of Europe.

Deco is underrated. The hard work he pulls to make Ronaldinho look good, assists and hell, even defending so that others can shine. Grabs his goals, many people dont see his value and worth for the current Barcelona squad.
