Over the next couple of hours there will be some down time. I am upgrading the forum software. Once it is complete you can post any problems here.
If you get very bored during this timeout make sure to give G4G a visit. It's just like Insight, you will be surprised how alike they are. ;)

OK. None of our hacks are installed yet... and the shop may take a while to work, but the forums are now back online.
Reason for the upgrade is to get the latest version of the vBulletin software which will make future changes much smoother.

Why do some people now have a crazy amount of points?
i.e Krookwk has just over 200 posts, but over 2 thousand points!?

its all looking good :) nice to see the theme has carryed across without too much trouble
Like the new stuff, E.g. as soon as you post something it comes up in the thread right away, also double bars for the mods, still to see some of the new stuff aswell probs.

The double bars is actually a bug which I am working on. I am contemplating resetting the betting system and using a new method. Everything should be up and running fully by Monday (I have other plans for the weekend).
What happen to Zyg's bar? He's got the admin one and some other kool one
Cant see any avatars, but thats probably my computer :cool:
That smilies drop-box is quite handy.
can someone tell me everything thats new/different ?

Avatars will not be visible in old skins. I really do not have time to change everything on everything skin.

This site is a mess from where im sitting. Please tell me that black skin is not gone. Its not working.
What happened to the new post button, that had the number of new posts.
Alos, on further thoughts I think the double bar on mods looks messy, hopefully this will be fixed before too long.
Also, when I try and click on someones name in a thread it won't come up, plus I can't send PM's.

Definitely not all below our avatars. I think the points we have now just looks more as the digits are separated by commas. I had far more in the bank than I currently have, hopefully the bank will come back soon though.

If you cant see avatars then change you're skin to version 6 ;)

Well ihope not for two reasons. Firstly we will get a rush of the n00bs asking for the 1,000 points they had saved up for years and they will not stop moaning for ages. More imortantly I had the odd 300 grand in there. ;)

I read on one thread that avatars can only be seen on certain skins. Is that true?
Plus, I cannot change my skin, I click on a different one at the bottom but it does nothing. What's going on?

User CP > Edit Options > Second drop down menu from the bottom is "Forum Skin". Change to V6 and save changes.
Cheers, it's now working. But I much prefer the old one- this is just G4G's but narrower.

It's all because of this software upgrade. As Hitman says it will be fixed when he has done it all.
Good to know it's not just me.

The problem with all the bugs is that some of our templates are not compatible with the new vBulletin features. Which is why things like PM (now working) and Skin chooser (Will shortly work) were not working. Please keep reporting anything that does not work.
I remember the maximum size for avys being 20 kb. Now its 19.5 kb. Is that a bug or the way of the future..?
Hitman,will i be able to use gifs again when everything is fixed? :)

Yeah it is very nice. I hadn't noticed the new skin until you mentioned it. Much prefer this to the other skins.
The black skin is still my favorite. It's so slick that one.

Hitman, see when you are sorting out the pesinsight skin, can you add the post buttons again, when ever I go into Go Advanced the buttons don't come up (e.g. The buttons to change font colour, hyper link etc)
Its much easier if they are there are there, rather than having to type out all the tags.

Just give it a few days and ebetyhing will be sorted. YOu seem to be annoying alot of people, Poffeman, if you stop ill pay for you're name change when I have the points again, after the reset.

That skin was rarher cool, I often used that one, like. But the skins I have now, version6 is the one ive used the most, its neat and tidy, and with the site still upgrading the site is looking tidier and tidier. Goodstuff.
