No offence to PP just stating my opinion how can Heskey be picked over the leading English goalscorer in the premiership last season, Beattie, i would put Beattie up front on his own with Vassel and Rooney behind him. Vassel will hurt their defence with his blistering pace.

beattie has no experience

why would rooney play infront of heskey? behind not infront

bridge should play ahead of ashley cole

chris kirkland and paul robinson imo are both better then james, possibly even wright is aswell - just less experienced

That's what I posted in the Owen thread when I was making suggestions as to who would replace Owen.
Experience is the key issue here.

Beattie's last performance against Lichtenstein should pretty much rule him out of the Turkey match. He tried hard but just didn't manage to make a good impression against a weak team.

I think Sven will pick Heskey and Rooney with Vassell coming on later.

My thoughts exactly. Vassell usually makes an impact when he comes on for the last few minutes so hopefully we will see a repeat of that. COME ON ENGLAND! :)
