Released on the 17th of October 2005.

You need to register at pesfan and go to this thread to download the version of the option file that you want. All the the types available are listed here so don't ask for any others.

Details:
The PESfan PES 5 V1 Option file

This file contains:-

Corrected Club team names
Corrected player names
Corrected Stadium names
All in game transfers have been done (New players have NOT been created)
Club teams squad corrections
Corrected squad numbers
Corrected starting 11’s
Unlicensed club team kits updated (Emblems and Logos added)
International Kits updated (Emblems and Logos added)
New boots added

This option file has been put together in a short space of time and will contain errors. You can report any you find in this thread.

We will correct them in a few weeks and release the V2 file.

We have 6 files for you to choose from. 2 max drive and 2 export.

File 1: Xport shop items unlocked
File 2: Xport shop items locked, 999999 Pes points.
File 3: Xport shop items locked, 0 Pes points.
File 4: Max Drive shop items unlocked
File 5: Max Drive shop items locked, 999999 Pes points.
File 6: Max Drive shop items locked, 0 Pes points.

get the evaluation version. thats all you need.

For anyone trying to work out how to get the file from the PC to your PS2 You need an xport or max drive device. Read this http://www.pesfan.com/bulletin/showthread.php?t=87878 should tell you everything you need to know

shall we make this compatible with a patched version of pes5 because at the moment this wont be compatible with a patch version of pes5.

youll probably find there will be 2 seperate kinds of option files. on one side those that are made for patched games, with all the transfers done and nothing else and on the other side those for use with the origonal game which will have all the kits done in the ingame editor.

to be honest the ingame editor is so good now its beginning to make me wonder if we need the patches for kit purposes, i know some people like to change the music, to me this is little more than a gimmic, and i dont like it.

but anyway, think youll see alot of option files which wont be of use with patches, unless you wanna go through every kit in game and set it back to default. i guess its only fair as alot of people wont have chipped ps2's so probably wont use patches.

in previous years me and zyg between us have defaulted all the kits on pesfan option files. pesfan's option file is usually very good and accurate. they havent got a default option file as pesfan do not believe in patching the pes. patched kits are still by far better than in game editing of kits but that is only my opinion. i have downloaded the pesfan option file i will in time begin defaulting the kits.

my mate had the same problem, so i put a link to a torrent containing the option files in this discussion, look up about 5 posts and you should see it.

Ok so I was able to download scorcherboy's bin/cue file. Problem now is when i got to burn it ,using fireburner, I go to import tracks from cuesheet it finds the .cue easy enough but then cant find the .bin¿ any suggestions?

you could try writting a new cue file. thats aout all i can think of. ive attached a small file that will write it for you if you dont know how to do it.

Hey ploppy I tried writing a new cue file still no luck, could it be fireburner? I would burn with nero but the slowest speed I can burn at is 4 and my ps2 cant read discs when I burn them at 4, need to 1x or 2x, any more tips?

hmmm, fraid not really. ive tried mounting all the option files that were in the torrent, and they all mount ok for me from the cue file. also nero and alcohol seem to work fine with them but as you say the slowest you can write with them is 4X which is a bummer. fraid i cant thik of anything else to dao apart from giving 4X a try. sorry.

Ok I don't know whats going on with my computer, but I went to burn it with nero rom, click on the cue and up pops fireburner, ready to burn the bin file. Oh well thanks for you help, guess I just have a strange pc

If you have a problem with burning option files to disk then ask in the CD2mem thread. Leave this thread for discussion of the option file itself. Every single time a new option file is available people ruin the threads by asking and asking how to make it work. If you can't figure it out then just buy a max drive. Please ask questions in the correct threads. If you bother to go and read all of the cd2mem thread you'll find the answers you are looking for.

Sorry about that incorrect cue files.I have uploaded the correct bin\cue files.You can also use dvd decrypter to burn those bin files I uploaded earlier.

Anyone know who the WEU team is meant to be? This option file says it's CSKA Moscow, but the players are incorrect?

Great file though. It's really cool having the correct names/kits/badges etc.

its meant to be WEU - Winning Eleven United, they always chuck at least fake team in, think its so you can edit it to be your own club if its not in it, most patchers and some option files change it in to an actual team to give you one more option.

make sure that the padlock switch on the side of the maxdrive, is on the unlocked position. I had the same problem, and wiped both of my memory cards before I figured it out!!

Nope. Nokami don't want licenced teams to be edited.
Unless you patch your game you have to stick to those kits.

Well PES6 should have Chelsea's new kit in it anyways, as long as they are still licenced. But otherwise yes you would have to patch the game.

but pes6 will be on the ps3 which will probably cost around 400 smaker roonies but should be worth it and hopefully pes will have every team liscnsed cause i hope ea sports go bust

Yeh Pelle V2 does ive put it together with some other bits and bobs to create a nice mix but would be even better if u and markandawn cud make a nice default kits version of this option file. A lot of people would want it im sure, rite now im using scorp's V5 which has default kits, gr8 option file but jst isnt as accurate as PESfan one. I know U r busy but it would definatly be much appreciated at least by me:D

Open the PESFan OF in the PESFan editor, then file-->Open import file and choose an OF with default kits. Then goto the import tab and chose the import kits option. Save it and it should have defaulted all the kits in the PESFan OF.
