When I try to connect to the network game it says this:

I've open everything from my computer..all firewalls and everything. Shit..I don't even have a router so it cannot be on the hardware side either.
Aaarh..Getting mad here. I wanna go online 'cause the single play just isn't challenging enough.
I tried to contact KONAMI's support in germany..They sent me a response that only german people are allowed to get support from there.
Does anyone know where the hell should I contact to get some information for this? Manual doesn't help at all..

If you're trying to play PES5 online, it might be worth waiting for the game to be released first.

Uoh..this forum seems to be full of ignorant people. The game has been released in Germany tuesday and was also found here in Finland yesterday.
So PLEASE! If you don't have anything that could help me with my frustrating problem then please be quiet.
I've paid 46,9euros for a game that wont work..I'm a bit pissed off now.
Here's a webcam pic of my copy: http://personal.inet.fi/koti/maxy/proevo.jpg

I've already tried on the pesfan forum. I'll try that evo web also..Cheers mate.
I bet there's gonna be others with the same problem after it's been released throughout the Europe.

The point you evidently missed from my post is that perhaps you should wait until it is released everywhere before you try to connect to the network as it may only be available then. And you're certainly right about the ignorant people, they're everywhere ;)
hey Zyg, is that avatar Samurai Jack?

Thats the screen you get if your router is not forwarded to the correct port or if your firewall isnt configured.
Config those and you will get to the key password screen and then onto servers

I know. I have configured my firewall and I don't have a router. I know what the screen is supposed to say, but the problem is that it doesn't help to do so. The problem still exists after doing all that is possible to do about those.
I have the same problem as Maxymaxy, no router, no firewall, same message, anyone who has solved this problem please let us know, thx

Well, there IS a firewall of some kind either on your pc or in a hardware used to connect to the network/internet or Internet Connection Sharing.
Games don't just fail to connect because there is nothing there :) Something is blocking it; therefore saying you dont have anything thats blocking it is obviously not true :)
MaxyMaxy: tried uninstalling the firewall completely? Trying to connect after doing that would show if it is the firewall thats causing the problem (whether its been configured correctly or not)
For people like b4548: things to look out for
* Internet Connection Sharing can cause these problems if your a client on it
* Check your "security suite" programs. Norton Security packs for example contain a firewall as well as anti-virus
* Some DSL modems may have a built in firewall to it. Check its manual
* Windows XP has a built in firewall
- I do not share my internet connection
- I have disabled the windows and zonelab Firewall
- I have no security programs installed
- my DSL modem ist Zyxel Prestige 630 and I asked Zyxel costumer support and they said that the Prestige 630 does not block any ports.
I still can't play online!
Now it works. Celebron was right
After disabling ZoneAlarm and Norton Antivirus i still could play online, after uninstalling both and activating Windows Firewall it works.
can somone can send a password of the online play? or let me now what to do? is not fer!
insert the PES5 DVD, autorun, klick register, register with whatever password you want
