The PESfan PS2 PES 5 V2 Option file

This file contains:-

All reported errors from the V1 file corrected
Duplicate players removed
Corrected Club team names
Corrected player names
Corrected Stadium names
All in game transfers have been done (New players have NOT been created)
Club teams squad corrections
Corrected squad numbers
Corrected starting 11’s
Unlicensed club team kits updated (Emblems and Logos added)
International Kits updated (Emblems and Logos added)
New boots added

We have 6 files for you to choose from. 2 max drive and 2 export.

File 1: Xport shop items unlocked
File 2: Xport shop items locked, 999999 Pes points.
File 3: Xport shop items locked, 0 Pes points.
File 4: Max Drive shop items unlocked
File 5: Max Drive shop items locked, 999999 Pes points.
File 6: Max Drive shop items locked, 0 Pes points.

get the evaluation version. thats all you need.

For anyone trying to work out how to get the file from the PC to your PS2 You need an xport or max drive device. Read this http://www.pesfan.com/bulletin/showthread.php?t=88975 should tell you everything you need to know

i dont think it will, you need to use an option file which is compatible with a patched version of pes5, scrops option file is good.

i defaulted all kits on pesfans V1 and V2 option files but for some reason when i did this the lincensed kits which konami installed show up as being corrupted, ie: juve, chelsea, ac milan, etc, etc, etc...the teams which arent licensed work fine, ie: liverpool, man utd, etc, etc, etc.

i am trying to rectify this.

I've got a max drive and am not the biggest fan of it. Ever since it corrupted my memory card which had my Gran Turismo save on it...

It was more likely to be you that messed up the saves rather than the max drive. Most people don't have any problems with it ;)

Make regular backups of all your saves to be safe.

Hi gentlemen,

I burned bin/cue with Nero, burn image. But when I put the newly created disc in my modded ps2 it makes screecing sound and does not work at all. I've already destroyed 3 discs, so it cannot be media problem.

I hope you can help.

hi guys - im a regular on pesfan so i thought id fill you in

theres been a legal issue with the premier league whereby theyve basically told the mods that posting any option files or editing tips including club names and badges is in breach of copyright of the fa premier league. as a result of this, all editing forums have been removed from the site as a legal precaution.

a quick warning to you guys, im not sure if the premier league are on the warpath but you may be next. ridiculous if you ask me but theres not much that can be done

We as a site are not hosting any files so they can't have any problems with us. If any individual chooses to upload the files and share the links, that's up to them.

The lesson to the premier league should be to stop being so greedy and do the decent thing for all fans of the games by selling the rights to premiership teams and logos to konami. If it's an exclusive licence then that's their own fault.

If they think people will not edit the club names to be the correct ones (for their own personal use for a game they have bought) than they truly are living on some strange planet far away.

It maybe coming from EA who do after all pay for these rights, so they may be applying pressure to the FA.

However i do believe this to be totally unjust, therefore i would advise that PESFan and any other PES appreciation/modding site inform the big games networks (especially UK based ones like CVG) about this to maybe bring more public awareness to this issue.

Download the max drive version and then use the file converter from here (http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=15391) to create the x-port version.

With the file not being easy to find you can't be too picky and will have to make a little effort.

For my max drive and have unzipped it and copied it over to my max drive on my PC....

But I plug the MD into the PS2 and it the file doesn't register... The file type is a .max... The lock is off the MD as well..??

i had the same prob. some how it's probably due to slow reading which is why the MD is empty. all i did was re-boot the PS2 and it worked fine.

jlboelen - you need to unzip it and then use the Uncrush method. More info in the Max Drive Help Thread in the Editing Questions section.

bsbmona + addicted7 - what do you mean? They are both possible if you are using the right mode. Are you talking about ML mode?
Just go to set up an exhibition match and set the season to Winter and the weather to Snow. Done.
