After only half an hour in the job Walter Smith has just captured Rangers Casuals Ltd first two signings of his campaign. Sanli Tuncay and Bonaventure Kalou have been brought to Ibrox with a fee of £5m plus Stankovic going the other way.
After Roberto Mancini had expressed his interests in Stankovic he did everything in his power to claw him away from Ibrox. Walter Smith done some negotiating himself, as this is his first time in the FL he decided to do a swap instead of a straight transfer. With losing such a fine player as Stankovic he would have to bring in some decent replacements and he sure done that with attacking midfeilder Kalou and striker Tuncay.
Walter Smith had this to say to Rangers World, "This is my first signing for this club, but i am happy yet sad also. I would have liked to keep Dejan here as he is an influencial player and could cause problems to all teams, thus being an improtant part of this teams fight for promotion. However with Dejan leaving i have managed to bring in a new and much needed striker, also a player who could possibly fill in Dejan's old role in left mid Kalou. I hope to see more players coming in to this fine club soon, and possibly some leaving also."

Marchena said, " I am very exited to play with this great club next season, i have heard promising things here, and hopefully i can help the club strive towards a promotion place next season.
Marchena will be given the number 4 shirt for the new season, also he can play as a Defensive Midfeilder so this will helpus vastly incase we need him there.

Rangers Casuals Ltd have just sold the duo of Cardozo & Carlos Aberto to Galaxy FC for a shock price of £4 million.
Walter Smith said, "From the very day i took over this team i had a look at the players and said, he goes, he stays. These two players were two of about four or five i felt that would be leaving Ibrox very soon. Hopefully Cardozo and Carlos Alberto will have a succesfull time at Galaxy FC and i wish them all the best."

Rangers Casuals Ltd have just announced the signing of Castelen minutes after they sold two players. Castelen has been brought to Ibrox after RC Ltd and FC Nerazzuri agreed a deal believed to be in the region of £4 million.
Walter Smith had this to say to Rangers World, "I have just this minute signed young Castelen for a very cheap price, i was pleased about this as i just let go two other midfeilders for the same price, so in a way this is a consolation for my team in the midfeild area. I hope to see promising things from him in the future.
Castelen said, "I am very happy about this move, as with my previous team i rarely got a game as the squad was full of superb talent, i'm not really dissapointed as i could see why i was cast aside when i had to compete wih players such as Sneijder, Recoba etc. I hope to be rather succesfull here at my new club."

Rangers Casuals Ltd have anounced yet another transfer deal today, their 4th of the evening. They have agreed a deal with Manchester Buccaneers for Alan Smith which is believed to be around the sum of £24 million.
Walter Smith once again spoke to Rangers World saying, "Another addition to this fine team this evening is Alan Smith, i have been looking to strenghthin my midfeild and i feel i am on the way to doing that with Alan. He is a solid midfeilder who gives everything he has on the pitch, he can also play as a forward which is a big plus. Next season i would like to see Smith in the heart of midfeild."
Smith had this to say,"I am exstatic to have agreed a deal with Rangers Casuals Ltd, they are a great side who are currently all over the place in the transfer market strenghtening their squad for the upcoming season, i think another one or two signings and we'll be heavily challenging for a promotion place."

Rangers Casuals Ltd have announced yet another transfer deal today, their 4th to be exact. This deal see's Nigel De Jong heading to GWP FC for a fee of £18 million.
After some hot interest from GWP FC, they finally managed to tickle my fancie with an £18 milion bid. De Jong would have been a good sub for the up coming season but i couldn't let a good deal lie, also it would mean De Jong getting a first team spot, so all is good.
Walter Smith thought he had made his last announcement through Rangers World but he was wrong, he is back now and giving a statement,"I class De Jong as a very good player, but a very good player can't be denied too many first team oppertunities. GWP FC offered a tastey deal which i though was rather good,s o i decided to accept. With these funds coming in i may invest in some more midfeild talent. So i would like to wish Nigel all the best at his new club."

Bonaventure Kalou has been sold to FC Damascus for a fee reported to be in the region of £20 million.
Rangers Casuals Ltd were approched by FC Damascus who offered a good sum of money to ensure he ends up with them. Kalou had only recently joined RC Ltd over a week ago.
Walter Smith had this to say.., "I have just agreed a deal with FC Damascus invloving Kalou, we signed him in a part exchange deal hoping for great things, but over the past few days we had an offer for him. The offer was too good to turn down so i ended up selling, although i will be sad to see Kalou leave as he hasn't even played a game for RC Ltd, but with the funds coming in i hope we can target another attacking midfeilder who can take his role."

Rangers Casuals Ltd have agreed a deal with Clube De Futbol Brasil for the signature of attacking midfeilder Alex. The fee is reported to be in the region of £25 million.
RC Ltd had actually captured teh signing of Alex on Sunday evening but teh transfer was delayed until persmission was granted for this deal to go through.
Alex said, "I am very pleased that this deal finally went through, i feel the need for a change and i feel i could achevie great things here. I will however be sad to leave all my team mates at Clube De Futbol Brasil, their a great bunch of lads and i hope they do well next season. Maybe not too well obviously as we'r competing for that promotion spot also."
Walter Smith had this to say, "I am very excited with this new addition, he is a great attacking midfeilder who's creativity and precise passing could work wonders here. I now feel that my midfeild may be complete. Although i am currently looking for another attacking midfeilder to make my midfeild as dominate as possiblt in D2."

Rangers Casuals Ltd can now reveal they have sealed the signing of wonderkid Javier Saviola. The deal that brings Javier to Ibrox is rumoured to be Daniele Bonera plus £5 million going towards FC Nerrazuri.
Walter Smith said, "I am very excited about Javier's arrival here at Ibrox. I'v been looking for a top class striker and i feel i have that now. My strikerforce is now complete, with Villa and Saviola upfront we will be terrorising defences all over D2. However with the inroduction of Javier it now means i have 6 strikers fighting for a startin place in the squad. However i m open to offers for Sanli Tuncay and Benni McCarthy."
Saviola will be given a straight start upfront partnering David Villa. He will also be givin the number 9 shirt.

Rangers Casuals Ltd are pleased to reveal their latest signing. Daniele De Rossi arrives at Ibrox today in a trade deal which sees Oleguer going the other way to Asgard Utd.
RC Ltd have been looking for a good, young defensive midfeilder for the past week of so, and they may have found that in De Rossi. He is a great passer of the ball, and help out the defenders vastly in their time of need.
Walter Smith had this to say, "I am very happy with the introduction of De Rossi in our squad. He can be a key asset to improving our squad. Although it could be a tough choice for me to pick between Daniele(De Rossi) and Rio(Mavuba). I am looking forward to the upcoming season and i now feel i have a reasonably strong squad that could compete with the top teams in D2 for promotion status."

Rangers Casuals Ltd are very pleased to announce the capture of 24 year old Cristian Zaccardo. A fee reported to be in the region of £17m was the bid that got accepted.
RC Ltd look rather weak in the right back position at the moment. Maicon who features in the starting line-up is no problem, we consider him one of the kep players at the club, we just need some depth in that position, now we feel we have that in Cristian (Zaccardo).
Walter Smith said, "This deal has really pleased me. I was forced to bring in Hugo Ibarra as a backup for Maicon, i wasn't too sure about him to be honest, but i new he would be good enough for backup in that position. Now that i have been able to capture Zaccardo i feel i could release Hugo (Ibarra) of his duties, Zaccardo will now be fighting a tough battle with Macion for the right back role this season."

Rangers have moved swiftly to capture the signature of Dutch international Denny Landzaat for a mere fee of £1m.
Landzaat had just been released by Rafa F.C and Walter Smith felt he could be a decent aquisation to this club.
Walter said, "I'm happy about this. Honestly, i think Denny(Landzaat) is a great player, he's good going forward and even does his fair share of defending when it's needed. With the capture of Denny though it means that i have to release someone, so i released Rocchi. I felt Denny could offer more on the right wing.
Denny Landzaat will pick up Tommaso Rocchi's old number 17 for the upcoming season.

Pablo Garcia joins Rangers Casuals Ltd in a season long loan. There was reported to be a fee in the region of £4m for this deal.
Garcia who has been out of favour at Bel Air has opted for a move away. Hopefully he can do a good job at RC Ltd for the upcoming season so he can try and warrent a place in the starting eleven of Bel Air in following seasons.
When Rangers manager Walter Smith was asked why he brought in another midfielder he said this, "I will tell you right now, i brought in Pablo(Garcia) so he could stengthen my midfield and add depth to it. He has been wanting regular appearences and i feel he could get that here at Ibrox. As for me bringing in another midfielder it will mean i will have to depart with one. Sadly that one will have to be Blasi, he is a youngster, has a lot to learn and has the potential to be a great player. But for now i am looking at the present, not buliding my team for the future.

They have proved in frienley's that they are a force to be reckoned with but the morale here shows that Rangers Casuals Ltd have what it takes to pull out a win next Saturday. Manager Walter Smith hasn't yet released the official formation for the upcoming game, but rumours have it that influencial players David Villa, Van Der Vaart, and Rio Mavuba will be playing.

Rangers Casuals draw in a close encounter with Merseyside USA
The first game of the season proved to be a cracker of a match. Ibrox was packed for the first game of the season and they really did get a show! At the end of the game, despite the 2-2 draw the Rangers fans were absolutely extatic at how the team played. The passes they strung together were of different class, but Merseyside showed they had class too by putting up quite the challenge.
Luca Toni opened the scoring through a Kalou cross, Dede was skinned then but got over it as the match progressed. Rangers Casuals however hit back immedietly with an exellent timed run and finish from new bot Obafemi Martins, Van der Vaart the assister. By now the game looked as though it was going to be a thriller! Second half started and Rangers were all over Merseyside, constantly attacking but squandering chances. Villa had two great chances but was denied by Merseyside's goalkeeper. However he got what he deserved in the 62nd minute when he smashed the ball into the bottom of the net through a lovely chipped ball from Del Piero. Although, again the lead wouldn't last. Mancini who controlled a wonderfully played ball from Maxwell on the opposite side of the pitch gave himself an excellent chance to square the game. That he took by driving the ball accross Leo Franco and into the net.
Walter Smith said, "What can i say? The boys performed to the best of their ability and got what they deserved. I say deserved because neither team deserved to win, both teams were outstanding but a draw was in the horizon. It was end to end stuff, everypart of the park there was action. This is an opening game to be remembered. Congratulations to Merseyside Reds, you put up a hell of a fight, good luck for the rest of the season."

Rangers Casuals are in e very good position for qualifying into the Quarter Finals of the WCL. The draw was made and only one D1 team was included in the group. With Castellon being tipped to win teh group this gives a D2 team a chance to show what they can do in the Quarters. Although it will be one hell of a battle between the four D2 teams. Rangers were lucky to miss out group D (Group of Death). That group only features one D2 team, so we were lucky to not be involved their, that should be the exciting group of the lot, defiently the one to watch out for.
The D2 cup looks exciting. Both are quality groups with dangerous teams. I can't wait untill it kicks off, should be a thriller.

Del Boy scores as Rangers just miss out on a win!
Rangers Casuals went into their third game of the season looking for that vital win, although it didn't come. Poffemaniacs were the opposition and were ready for the tough match. Rangers went in at half time sitting on a scoreline of 1-0. Del Piero had comfortably slotted home after Mavuba launched a long ball from his own half to Del Boy who lead an impressive counter attack, Del Piero controlled well and slotted past young keeper Sebastian Frey. The lead didn't last though as Poffemaniacs cam out in the second half looking feirce. They were constantly on the attack and managed to get that vital equaliser. In the dying minutes Rangers had a glorious chance to take a late lead, but an outstanding save by Frey from a beautifull David Villa volley stopped Rangers from niciking it at the end.
An impressive performance from both teams, but yet they still sit in the bottom half of the table.

Rangers Casuals win in action packed match!
Today Walter Smith won his first D2 league tie. Rangers Casuals went into this match with alot of confidence after beating Delia's Barmy Army in the WCL Cup. They were up against tough opponents, Clockwork Holland.
This match was one to remember, as were all the matches this week in each division, one hell of a crazy voting frenzy! In the first half both teams played very well. Both had some great goalscoring chances, but continually failed to take that oppertunity for the goal. Although the score would not last 0-0 for long. In the 34th minute Rangers Casuals started a counter attack from a Clockwork Holland corner. Van Buyten had launched the ball straight up to Miroslav Klose who controlled perfectly then played a lovley through ball to pacey young striker Javier Saviola. With such greta vision by Klose to create the chance it left Saviola with only the keeper to beat, he smashed it into the top right hand corner, 1-0 Rangers. This didn't last though. Rangers Casuals thought they were going in at half time 1-0 up, but Clockwork Holland got a freekick about 25 yards out. Veron stepped up and smacked a curler right into the top left corner, skimming the bar as it went in. 1-1, game was back on.
The second half started brightly, but only for Rangers. Clockwork Holland were a bit slow off the mark, this led to them conceding another goal. In the 54th minute after Rangers Casuals had bombarded them with attacks they finally got that second goal they were looking for. Alex got the ball out on the left flank and played a super cross field pass to Del Piero, who continued his run to the edge of the box. He got the ball and played pass across the box, then in came Klose skidding with his legs stretched out as far as he could. He got the slightest of touches to send the ball past Stekelenburg. Clockwork Holland however hit back immediatly. in the 62nd minute Bojinov and Drogba linked up well with a series of 1-2's. this led to them tearing apart van Buyten and Juan. Drogba played that final pass to Bojinov who had a crack from just outside the box. Tim Weise who was off balance had no chance of saving it as it soured into the net. The best part of the game though was in the final minutes. Both teams were attacking nonstop. In the 91st minute though Rangers Casuals got that corner, the corner that turned the game around. Alex went to take it out on the right for an inswinger. He crossed it right into the 6 yard box where it met a thumping header by the Rangers Casuals captain Van Buyten. Final scorline 3-2, what a game. Credit to Clockwork Holland(Barry) for the great match.
The table begins to take shape:

Rangers Casuals drop another 2 points!
Today Rangers Casuals went into their 5th domestic game of the season looking for that second win. However today didn't go as planned for the Casuals. Asgard United put up one hell of a fight to deny Rangers that victory. Rangers this season have already experienced close games that really have been played till the final whistle, again Rangers lost a goal in the dying minutes which caused them to through away another 2 points. The match today so both teams score 2 goals in each half. First half it was pretty even with Rangers taking the lead through a De Rossi thunderbolt. Javier Saviola had recieved the ball but kept getting help up just outside the box so he saw De Rossi running on and played the ball right infront of him. De Rossi didn't hesitate atall and fired a shot into the bottom left corner. Again Rangers took an early lead, something that they have experienced quite alot this season. Getting near half time Asgard were pressing. Pressing they continued and it payed off. Kuranyi rounded off an amazing move that started from their own half.
Second half started brightly, once agian though Rangers take that early lead. This time a rare goal by center back Marchena. Del Piero took the corner and flighted in the ball to the back post. Everyone missed it and it fell right infront of Marchena who just had to side foot it anywhere into the net, he remained calm and slotted it into the goal, 2-1 Casuals. For the next 30 minutes or so Asgard were pushing and pushing. This lead to Casuals being kept in their own half for most of the second half. Rangers seemed to have done enough to secure a 2-1 in but on the 89th minute disaster struck for the home side. Alexander Hleb, the man with those dangerous feet found a way through the back 5. He shimmyed and shuffled which put Van Buyten and Marchena right of guard, he squeezed right through the middle of them and only had to beat Leo Franco. This is done with a neat side foot finish into the bottom right corner. Final score 2-2.

Zlatan soon to be revealed at Ibrox!
Rangers Casuals Ltd have struck a deal with Norway United which involved a hefty some of £27m and star striker David Villa heading out while the big swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrives.
David Villa is going to be missed, with his short period at Rangers Casuals he has already been a hero. The clubs captain and topgoalscorer is sure to be a hit with D1 side Norway. We wish him all the best and hope he continues a fine run throughout the remainder of the season. Untill then though David(Villa) will be a key player in the Rangers squad and shall remain the captain. Zlatan Ibrahimovic though is sure to be a big hit with the Rangers fans. A big skillfull, pacey, clinical finisher which should terrorise other D2 sides. We cannot wait untill he pulls on a Rangers jersey.

Rangers Casuals Ltd Seal Duo
Today we announce the signing of two fantastic players. One a great midfielder who can dominiate the center of midfield, a real hard man. Many say, 'he's great when he plays for your team, but when he plays against you he's a nightmare'. The other player a hard working full back, who constantly gets forward to pose a threat. Also he can fairly hit free-kicks which will be a boost.
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/7699/8225915867km.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Bad boy De Rossi gets shown the door
One half of the deal see's Danielle De Rossi, the defensive midfielder heading out to RCA with the powerful Essien coming this way. 'We see this as a great move, Mikael(Essien) will prove to be a huge influence on the team, he works hard with his fellow players and never gives up, surely he'll influence some of the younger players here.'
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5094/16610078511oz.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
The talented Ghana man, sure to be a big hit
The other half of the deal sees another straight swap, full back for full back. This time Dede is the one making way for the Spanish full back Antonio Lopez. Dede who has been with this club for 2 season now has been a great player, fully committed to the team and we will be sad to see him go. He was a determined individual, and even with the vast amount of offers we got for him, he chose to stay and prove his loyalty to his team. Now though it's time i gave him something, i've taken the chance to give him a chance in the top flight where he will show how good he is.
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/3199/goetdede11203234263rh.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Determined Dede
His replacement Antonio Lopez will be a great asset to the club. I am an idmirer of the guy, he shows onfield on great he really is. Though i do admit he has his bad days, which i am willing to take a chance with. Antonio has proven he can hack it in the top flight, so hopefully he can work wonders here.
