Any opinions, comments or anything you wanna say about the starting players and formations will be much appreciated :)
Nice match and great teams......I go to Figo, because his midfield and and strikers are excellents and can beat Stella´s defense....

I completely agree (hence why I voted for Figo).
Please remember that we are a division apart however...
You've gotta remember to vote for yourself when the season starts buddy. It's common practice in the FL to do so ;)

Meh, i'll never do that, even if I need another vote to win - although I won't vote for them of course. ;p

show your benchs guys, also, id take stella in this one, a great D2 team, but i think bufon and a few of the other stars would be upset to be in D2 and they might not play their best.
Figo i understand your experimenting, but if i were you i wouldn't play this line up every again.

I think Stella wins. Although if Figo did have his full strength 11 out, I think he'd take the victory.;)

Stella to edge this, he has some fantastic players and might be the team to beat in D2. I don't like the system you're using Figo, either you wouldn't be offensive enough and would only have a few attackers, or Solari and Miguel would have to bomb forward all game which would leave the defence exposed for the likes of Maniche, Veron and Kuijt to exploit. 2-1 to Stella.
Figo, I reckon that you should bring Miguel and Solari back a little, and use them as wingbacks if you're going to persist with that line up.
As for the match, Figo would win because his team possesses more quality.
Figo underestimated his opponent by fielding only three centre backs. No way they can hold out against those pacey wingers and Verons through balls to Crespo and Kuijt. I think Stella's side would rip them apart with counter attacks. Although Figo has a lot of quality and might have more possesion in midfield. Stella edges this for me. 3-2. I think you should get someone younger to partner Carvalho. Mellberg is a bit old if i'm not mistaken.

^^^I think Muads said it all there, don't like Figo's formation at all.
I think you should get someone younger to partner Carvalho. Mellberg is a bit old if not mistaken.
Only late 20's, decent age for a centre back imo.
Oh ok. I thought he was older.

Stella's line up certainly has a better balance to it thats for sure. Figo would certainly find his defence up against a barage of assaults. I'd drop Miguel to RB, cut Smertin and bring in someone to play on the right of midfield in either a 4-4-2 or a 4-1-2-1-2 (diamond).
Stella's side has a lot going forward, with the likes of Veron, Ljungberg and Kuijt being of particular note. However i think he could be stronger at the back. Mellberg's certainly quite understated, as he has a lot of experience and skill, but for me Sheva and Rosicky are two of the best players in the world and they could make his life hell. Even with Figo's exposed back 3, he could still score enough to keep himself afloat.
So i'll go Figo, but only by the skin of his teeth.

Thanks for all the positive comments!
I don't actually think Mellberg is that bad, but given who he is currently playing for, I could certainly understand if people assumed he wasn't all that great.
I'll actively be searching for a replacement in that department, anyway.
Thanks for all your views and comments guys, they certainly help. I won't be trying this again for some time I think. Good game Stella, 2-1 to ya :)
I'm guessing Solari is the problem here  maybe he'll not have enough stamina in the second half to keep running forward and back.
