This is the updated version of my option file, which was based on the PESFan option file V1. All the errors from V1 and the ones leftover to V2 have been corrected, so you’re getting a solid option file. Extra stuff has been done too.
Content:
Fundamentals
100% Real names done.
100% Team names done.
99% Transfer done.
League & Cup names changed to their real equivalent.
100% kits, emblems and sponsors have been done.
Extra Teams
What makes this option file different from others is Leeds and Wolves have been added over PES/WE United. So if you want to play a Premiership ML this can enhance it with two extra English teams. Also the two teams have been updated and kits have been improved.
Created Players
Some players that are missing in the game have been created and put into the clubs they play for. Not every missing player has been created! There are in total of 30 players created, players including Fred, Song, Fernandes, Bakke, Firmani, Onuoha, Kleberson, H. Babangida, N.V. Obinna and more.
Double Players
Most of the double players have been taken out of the National teams to replace the real players. Teams like Germany, Holland, Wales, Serbia & Montenegro have been done and more.
Stats
In this option file some of the player stats have been updated thanks to the stats updates by del piero and PLF.
Appearances
There have been some players appearances improved thanks to people like Cammeyboy, Shevapro, Milansta90 and del piero.
Boots
I have done something different with the boots, Type 1 is the Nike Vapors, Type 2-8 are the licensed Adidas boots but Type 9 I have made generic. What I mean by that is that I’ve made a type of boot which applies to different boots, for example there are different black/white coloured boots from Puma Kings, Nike Air Legends, Medoza, Classic Adidas and etc. The same with white/black and black/green, which is the most general boots. So if certain player wears black boots with white or green colour that’s what he will wear in the game. A lot of players have been given their right boots if not they will wear plain black boots. If you LOVE your boots and want some real made boots, then this option file isn’t for you.
Player Call Names
This might be minor but I noticed there are a lot of players names who have not been registered their call names even though it is in the game. I have given a lot of players their call names. Also there are players who have there full name in the game but their first names isn’t in the game, but their second name is. For instance there might be a player called Savio Rodriguez, the full name might not be in the game but Rodriguez might be.
Extra Info
No Master League cups have been won. The option file name needs to be changed if you participate in memorial matches. The Premiership, Eredivisie, Serie A and La Liga teams formation have been done (possible not to your liking). The others are the Konami default formation. Also some of the teams formation that has been done, haven’t got arrows on players due to my personal choice. Some national teams need updating. There are a few stuff bought in the PES Shop. No players have been overwritten on. No new national team kits. There is an error with the Leeds kit, the left half of the White and Mackay logo needs to be put back on, i can't do it now because my PS2 ain't working.

There is an error with the Leeds kit, the left half of the White and Mackay logo need to be put back on, i can't do it now because my PS2 ain't working.

This is how to do it:
1.Go into edit mode
2.Edit team
3.Select leeds
4.Select Strip
5.Select chest logo
6.Select logo 1
7.Then into Select Logo
8. Now find the left half of the logo (2nd page, near the middle)
9. Select that and go to the move option to line it up
DONE! Hope that helps.

how do you insert badges in to the game?
what it is i have the championship saved on my pc and want to put them on to my ps2?
Just because I prefer not to have them in ML - Can someone tell me before I download as I don't want to make a bin/cue unless this is the case
Also are any shop players unlocked?
All the classic players are locked and the only ones that are unlocked are ones needed for teams. i.e. Paul Ince for Wolves

Think this might help:
Pes fan editor,open a pc option file ,open of2 level6 option file xport version.Now go at options or tools and press of2>of1 thats it,press save and you have your level6 option file except editable boots.This works with xbox too.:applause:

It's the least I could do mate for the optionfile, it's helped alot.
I'm thinking of doing a "best of" optionfile starting in the new year, which will have all the best players from classic to current for ALL the teams in the game. I will use your optionfile as a base to start so thanks again.
I read that thing about changing the PC file to the xport one, but I have got a xbox max drive! Can some please tell me where I can download the pes 5 option file v2 or this option file for the xbox in a max drive format.

sorry to be thick, i'm not really experienced with that... i don't understand how to convert your option file (which looks so yummy i'm drooling ^^) to a PC version, if that is at all possible. the quote you gave above is confusing, since it tells about opening a _PC_ file to convert it to an _XBox_ one.

Has anybody got the xbox option file with nike balls, nike boots, puma boots, fancy nets, new hoardings, champions league music etc? Saw it about a month ago on pesfan, but as you all know everthing has been wiped. I have pesfan v2 which is wicked but I want more licensed goods!

I'm not sure about that but i'll try and put the screen back to the default posisition for you and upload it again later

btw, i'm not sure about the cause for that glitch, i just made an educated guess (i used to own a PS1, no PS2 though), so it is entirely possible that i've gone off-target. if you want further explanation (or even a screenshot) to help you fix the problem, feel free to ask, i'll be glad.

you can't get all of that on an option file. For that you'll need to patch your game.
If someone had a patched game with all that on it and saved the option file using a maxdrive, then uploaded it onto the net. Will it retain everything which has been edited?

lol i never claimed i had new balls. But about the boots their just someting i edited ingame. Also things that been patched can't be retained in a option file.
Also i try and get the X-Box version soon.

Level 6's option file claims it does as well, but has it? Please please please get this option file onto the Xbox!!Just in case you don't understand english - It is not possible to get all that onto an option file. The balls, music and stuff is only read from your patched game disk, the info is not stored on your option file at all. Go and read all of the sticky threads to understand more about what patching is.

dang, Level6, another problem arose ^^
when i'm in "Replay" mode (the replay you can control, not the auto-replay after a failed attempt), it replays very fast. before, it used to play in a kind of "slowy motion", now it plays fast, even slightly faster than in the game. also, i cannot control it with the D-pad anymore, only by using the _right_ stick.
this is quite weird to me, i don't understand where the bugs come from =/
Fuck i'm not sure whats wrong with it, give me some more time and i'll check it out....and see if i can solve it.

i was wondering if it was possible to take a working PC option file and just copy the players info over it ? same for the names of the leagues, the ones you use are not exactly correct, but pesfan ones are (i believe, they certainly are correct for the French league: Ligue 1). it would be great if we could take it as a template and then copy your info (so great for transfers, stats, etc) over it.
EDIT: okay, i've realized i can easily do this myself... so don't spend time doing it just for me =)
EDIT: weird, i've played a game and the slow motion worked as it used to. i'll see if it happen again, otherwise, maybe it was just a glitch which stopped when i closed/relaunched PES. so don't sweat over it too much yet =)

What do you mean the league names aren't properly done? do you mean it's not done the way PESFan done it?...because i've edited stuff to what i think it should be called :)
well, for example, you named the French league "Le Championnat". while we certainly call it "le championnat de France", its proper name is the "Ligue 1" (league one). same for the "Premiership", it should probably be the "F.A. Premiership". then again, maybe it's a matter of taste =)
i am no expert as to the other leagues and cups, and they look ok, so, really, it's no big deal =) i've spent 30 minutes editing my favourite team faces, and the Ligue 1's names to what I wanted, and it's alright, so no need for you to spend time over it. when i first asked, i didn't know it was so easy. i mean, in-game editing is tiresome for the whole game, but for 10 teams, i can handle it ;)

Yeah cool man. About the league 1 teams, some of the kits are incomplete, i'm gonna improve them for the next version of the OF.
Also the names of the leaguen is possible a matter of taste, since i prefer The Premiership instead of F.A. Premiership and so on with the other leagues.
At the moment i'm just improving the kits the player faces and etc...

Nah it ain't a patch, it's just an option file...put it in your PC (PES5) folder.

Awesome option file! Thank you to the creator! I picked this one because it has Leeds & Wolves (2 more english teams allowed me to have a perfect 24 british teams in Div 1&2 of my league) but I am hugely impressed with all the other changes too. Much to my amazement I even managed to convert it to work on WE9. Thanks for the great file!

So is it confirmed that you can use this OF on WE9i? I am just waiting for a good file so I can start my ML. :blush: I don't want to get several weeks into it and find that player X has long been traded or player Y stats need to be better represented.
