Pretty harsh assessment, but I thought that I shouldn't be too biased!!!

I'm playing the game on "Hard" and doing quite well having spent the past two seasons in Division 1 without any major successes, but i'm sure that it wont be long before I'm crying out for another challenge. I havn't tried Extreme yet...not until I win the trebble in Division 1.

So NIBOD (and the others whe rate themselves so highly)....you reckon you get a 9 for Free Kicks!!! This has to be the hardest aspect of the game and you honestly reckon you get them in that often (90% of the time)???

I stated that I thought I was about an 8 for Free Kicks... I think that this is probably on the high side too...more like 6-7 really.

this is a really hard task...i think that the only way to guage how good you are is see who has the best Historical Records in the "Extreme" mode of play...say, after 10 seasons, how many Titles, Cups and Championships have you won?....just a thought!

well for a start i've never heard of the "extreme mode" but I am on about my 23 season on hard and won pretty much everything every year with a few exceptions. The records only go back to the 8th season.

NIBOD, If you start a new game in master league, you can choose to start in extreme mode which is harder than hard.
You can only play it when starting again.
It's well worth it so give it a try.

Ok started out on normal and won 1st div twice, so jumped up to extreme and couldn't make it past the first season without going bankrupt. So went down to hard and I am on my first season. Now unlike some of the previous post on this thread, I rated myself pretty reasonably and relize that I am far from a master of the game.

i think these are pretty accurate, about 50% of all my goals come from lobs or free kicks, and the cpu on extreme very rarely get more than one goal past me.

I'll be honest i'm shocked!
I thought most people on here would be some of the best players at Pro Evo but obviously not. Some of you talk like playing master league on extreme is a very hard thing to do. I never play master league anymore becuase it's far too easy, i've won every single trophy posible to win on extreme and frankly i was gettin sick of doin the treble season after season.
i'm not trying to boast or brag but i think if u still struggle with master league on extreme then... then... I WILL CRUSH U!!
I only ever play Pro Evo against other people now because it's the only way i have competition and even then i've never met anyone capable of giving me a tough match constantly.

I put my technique down to possesion football, i nearly always have at least 70% possesion against the computer and around 60% against other people. i'm very comfident on the ball and like to play passing football.

If you have the ball the opposing team can't score!

hey proevo3, i agree about extreme being too easy sometimes, i quite often win by more than 3 or 4 goals without the aid of a "dream team" and have registered wins of 9-0. lets hope they put an "insane" mode in PES3 eh?

Crosses - 9 (I vary them, and often pick the right one)
Headers - 10 (I can't remember the last time I got out-headered in a game)
Volleys - 5 (I can't remember scoring one)
Defending - 4 (Really poor at it, to be honest - I get roasted quite often...)
Tackling - 10 (...which is why knowing how to slide is quality)
Shooting - 9 (Confident finisher)
Free Kicks - 10 (Set-piece specialist. This doesn't mean I score every time, but I hit the target about 95% of the time)
Tactics/Strategy - 8 (My mates latched onto the 'killer' formation before me, but even so I fared well playing a modified 4-5-1)
Lobs/Chip - 6 (I virtually never use the Lob - L1 - but am really good at the double-tap O chip, so I averaged it)

Score = 78/100

I think that's about right. I'm a lot harder to beat than the defending suggests though. Frustrating the opponents is my game.
