Its a real shame its a great team, shame about some of their fans. I know this happens with many other italian teams as to in spain, but Inter have already had to play in a closed stadium. These people really need educating.

I've got to agree with Yossi, to be honest, if this story was about any other fans I doubt you'd have the same casual attitude towards it.
I've been to plenty of Newcastle matches and have never encountered audible racist chanting directed at opposition players.
I know that Inter aren't the only club to have problems with racist fans, but the fact that it isn't confined to one club doesn't mean the football authorities should turn a blind eye to it, or accept it as you seem to be doing.

That is a terribly defeatist attitude, we certainly don't "have to live with it", fines and bans are one of way of tackling the problem, if the clubs aren't going to deal with it.

I played basketball at a pretty high level up until college in Greater Boston, i was the only white kid on the team, and would often be the only white kid on the floor and i would often get referred to as "whitey" and intimidated as such, and i can tell you it is not a great feeling and it wasn't real hate as i knew those players respected me, i can't imagine being in someone like eto'o's position every game where real hate is hurled at him from the stands, im sure he doesn't feel safe...racism shouldn't be tolerated b/c everyone else does it too, thats definately as way that will accomplish nothing.

there was a japanese player playing in cameroun (yaounde canon) he came to play in moroccan league this season and he talked about his experience in cameroun as a very nice one claiming that people were very nice and cheerfull there .
but even if it haven't been si you can't compare . it's not that simple , the racism in europe has been (not so long ago) helped by "sience" , it's not the old stupid hatred against foreigner wich you can find everywhere it's really about the philosophy about a "higher race" wich hasn't existed before .
