View Full Version : Has anyone succesfully done a "knock&run"?

Hi, I wanted to know if anyone had a video of successfully using the "knock and run move, where the ball is knocked one side of the opponent and the players run rounds them in a curve to collect it agian. I have pulled it off in training but not round a player yet.

For all those wishing to attempt to do it you need to:
hold R1+R2, then just before the player touches the ball, TRIPLE tap L1.

Wondered if anyone had pulled it off, if so can u post a link to a video?

It never seems to work during a match for me! I've fluked it against the keeper though.

did it once in training with ronaldinho that actually worked, and I've done several without any defence around

Ive managed it sort of against the keeper in training, knoking it through his legs then jumping him but never properly executed it yet, its hard against the keeper because when they go to ground your player cant arc enough so jumps him rather than runs round.

Hooorah - i managed it, i got a little video of me using it past a defender, sorry about the extremely poor quality but all i have currently is my phone to record wiht - hence it being in 3gp - unless someone can give me a link to a converter you'll need something like LG/nokia etc media player to view it i think, but it plays in others sometimes

it's easy to pull off in training but a whole different ball game against the computer or you'r mates there is not enough time.

yeh, your right, seems to be an unbeliavably complex move for what it is, the timing is has to be so precise and theres only certain positions where it works, i hope Konami simply it slightly for the next game, because it would be a good move to use.

Its incredibly hard to do, considering that its very easy to do in real life (the excecution, not actually beating a defender) I think in the next game a simple r1 + r2 and a single tap of l1 would suffice. Obviously beating a defender should be just as hard, but with the ability to pull of the move easier we should have more luck with it.
