[dwevans]

The second installment of the most realistic option file around.

Based originally on flippers champions league option file, with additions from those of pesfan, Level6 and a few others

100% player names
100% kits
100% team names
100% transfers
100% league names
100% stadium names

All Classic Teams are now the under 21 national sides of the respective countries so classic players don't pop up in the master league...

However...classic players replace the duplicates so many of tehm are still in the game just for the sake of being there..you can transfer them etc, but they cannot appear in the master league...

Players with ability to Flip Flap Altered...Now the list includes...Ronaldinho, Robinho, Ronaldo, C. Ronaldo, Wilhelmsson, Ibrahimovic, Quaresma, Denilson, Okocha, Porrit, Moses (Both England u-16 players) and last but not least TRUNDLE...If any others can be suggested in the place of Moses i will alter in due course...

(EDIT: I have been asked how i do this: You cant just give the flip flab to players...only a certain few players have it and you have to effectively swap the player you want to have it with the one who does...e.g in my option file:robinho - rivelinho, quaresma - cisse, trundle - luque etc etc)

All appearances up to date from all appearance creators...credit to California Clown, Cammemboy. Rayishare, rab1888, Villene & Old Man

Many boots updated with the largest range of boots available..even the default master leaugue players boots changed so they don't all have type 1,1 boots

yeah, ive edited my first post...it is 100% everything from level6 with more...all his wolves and leeds players for example were used to help write over the top of the players i put into the classic teams

lol...well i'm not sure if that's true...i find though with different balls and in different stadiums the gameplay seems to change very slightly...that might be a reason. It might seem harder to cross cos i use a different cross option under controller configuration - set it back to 1 and it should be normal

thats why youre one of the best OF makers.. I didnt likt it at all when you play in the master leaugue against for example real madrid and they got Bebeto, Pele, enz..

i Took Sao Paulo out for all the champions league teams to be in...
Which appearances are messed up...?
The boots are like that because you cant see that much detail when your playing, and it's so you have the range to give all players roughly their correct boots.

I've tried two Option files updates now, one from PesFan website and one from here, dwevans Option file.

Both look great and both work ok but can anyone tell me why there is now a bug that means all stadiums are empty when in game play?

Also, when playing the league, the ball, no matter which one you choose to play with, stays plain white!

tried to load up new option file.....and.......

Hoorah, got a message saying it was corrupted and now my memory card is DEAD!!!! All other game saves must be on there, but can not be accessed from any game or the browser menu of the ps2...just get a message saying "there is no data"...

Any ideas? I am soooooo angry now!

You should read the Max Drive Help Thread (http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=15963) to find out why this happened. The Max Drive doesn't come with great instructions so the first thing everyone should do is backup all of their files so that problems like this are not so bad.

A Max Drive can ONLY be used to transfer memory card files.

If you want to use these kits you need to patch your game which is more complicated and has nothing to do with max drive.

ii) the ronaldinho and schevchenko xi's are master league best elevens..they are only on xport format at the mo but can be converted using compulsions converter...when you are on teh team selection screen for a friendly select load master league data and load the teams...simple as that

Have downloaded your option file (1.2mb) for XBOX
The file does not appear to be a .zip file which is what the Maxdrive requires to use.
The maxdrive is not locked and software appears to be ok including drivers.
I cannot drag the file onto either maxdrive window (says not a valid xbox save) or onto the drive E:
Am I missing something (apart from a few brain cells)

i dont think you get the idea...this option file is for those people that can't stand classic players popping up and ruining the master league...and hence i have spent time removing them...if you want them in your game i suggest you look elsewhere...:mellow:

u can do this by loading up the option file in the pesfan editor and saving it as and XBOX MAXDRIVE save, or i think you can.

Ok i downloaded the option file for ps2 on here (cheers mate) onto my max drive, then i copyed the option file to my memory card, then restarted my playstion with the PES5 disc in, and when its loading up it says:

There is insufficient memory and since THERE IS NO OPTION FILE.....etc

What am i doing wrong? Cheers people.

It is just telling you that there isnt enough space on your memory card to save an option file on your memory card. But the fact is the option file you have downloaded IS already on your memory card so all you have to do is select the cancel option...and the file will load.

You'll have to free up some space on your memory card if you don't want this message to appear every time.

i have found an error with this optionfile. i started a maste league and i couldt find messi because i wanted to ad him to the list so i got out went to messi in barcelona put his name to default and it said malgani. this also hapenned to me robinho. where are messi and robinho

I'm having trouble with the Ronaldinho XI & Shevchenko XI download.

When I download it to my desktop, it appears as a ".rar" file.

I'm no good with computers and I don't know what to do with this. :erm:

I can transfer PS2 X-PORT saves to my memory card, and I used to know how to convert Max Drive saves to X-PORT saves. But this is and was the extent of my knowledge on option-file-aquisition.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

If you burn an option file to disk you must have burnt the bin/cue version of the option file. More info on that in the CD2mem thread.

Hi can anybody convert this game save to psp for me or does the bin/cue OF work if so how do i install it

Shouldn't have anything to do with windows media.

Cheers Zygalski, I'll keep an eye out for it. Can I ask though, has some individual players been changed in terms of their skills and numbered ratings? I ask because on paper some teams should be bad (lets say Wigan) but yet are having a great season so has there been or will the be further modifications to try and make each team perform in a more ‘real’ way?

hey everyone...sorry about the large break between this and my last reply...i've had loads of exams at uni...and my course (medicine) is quite demanding lately...im back in the swing of things...editing my option file and hopefully should have v3 up soon

well ive just had a killer day of editing...sore eyes and that.

done all the transfers for all but the other teams. However many appearances of these players need to be done. i.e getting right skin colour.There are a few more things i need to sort out and will do as soon as possible

Estimate due to me having some coursework to do and i have a surgical attatchment over the next couple of days - next week after i have had the weekend to round my work off.

How many of you used my additional teams in the best eleven format, bacause i could have some more teams ready if this proves to be popular...

"Best eleven" teams are individual teams that you can save in Master League mode, and then play with in Exhibition Matches.

Dwevans has included two such teams on the first page of this thread: the Shevchenko All-Stars and the Ronaldinho All-Stars. These teams are based on a real-life exhibition game that's played each year for charity.

Once you've transferred these teams to your memory card, choose to play an Exhibition Match, and then pick the little box with an "M" in it when choosing your teams. This "M" box enables you to play exhibition matches with previously saved Master League squads.

Again, dwevans did a great job with these. I particularly like the flags.

These are Pro Evolution 5 saves. And I'm not sure if these can be easily converted to Winning Eleven 9 Int. (North America) files - the way regular Option Files are converted. Though someone out there with more CPU knowledge than I could probably figure out a way...

expect the release over the next couple of days though im not making any promises...i might just release it to satisfy people and release a v4 not long after, as i have a rugby tour coming up to occupy next weekend and tests to do before.

hollbrook99 - i sometimes wish i did get money for this, but then i look at someone like PLF who puts loads of time into getting the stats right. My game is aesthetically pleasing and very good to play ML with, and i plan on incorporating some ideas on my file with PLF's so the game is finally playable like real football. If you seriousely would like to pay me mate, pm me and ill be more than happy to work out a way :D

I think i'll rather wait for a complete v3 rather than wait for a v3 and then a v4, although it will be nice to have a v3 soon because I just can't wait for your option file just like many other people.

Dwevans, have you put in Cuauhtemoc Blanco from Mexico and Giovanni Dos Santos, a mexican that plays for Barcelona's Youth, they say he could be the next Ronaldinho and he even looks like him. That would be nice.

hi theres a player called samba who is apparently english and plays for cadiz on your option file... surely this is incorrect... help please regarding who he is and should he be there?
