I would go for -The G- for this match and his team would be even better if he put Nedved in ahead of Rothen.

Also in Rangers team you should start Klose ahead of Villa in my opinion.

I like The G's team formation. Having a holding midfield like Emerson will definitely secure a win.

I think the G will take this game. He has a strong midfield, even stronger if Nedved comes in ahead of Rothen. Emerson is solid as the holding midfielder, so that is a plus.

Im not too keen on Zebina at centre back, he definitely is better being the right back.

Tevez looks great as the attacking midfielder and fine supporting your strikers, he knows how to do that.

And Makaay and Gilardino are a big threat to any team, that is a great patnership and guarantee you goals The G.

Rangers, i think Klose should start ahead of Villa, in that way, you will have a much better chance. Klose is a lethal striker.

1. I don't like it much. He's a good right back, but I don't think he's defensively sound enough for a center back.

2. I like it, he's a good player all around the front line.

3. Haven't seen Makaay play in a bit, so I can't really comment. I know Gilardino is still settling in at Milan, from what I've seen, but he gets better each week.

John, I don't like your formation at all. Way too attacking and I don't think de Rossi could handle Mat's attack well. I think you'd get raped down the middle, unfortunatley. You've got good potential though. What happened to Mavuba?

PS, Nikos, Villa is a lethal striker as well. ;)

Just testing out a 3-4-3 formation, players can be swapped around etc. Like as Mat said do you reckon i should pull back Del Boy & Van der Vaart ?

Zebina at centre back is fine, I think he's better there than at right back.

Good, but the formation is a little too attacking for my liking. Rothen and SWP could drop back to help out in defence, but they should be allowed to attack at will, and having a central midfield partner for Emerson would allow them to do that.

Good, it'd get you a lot of goals, as a partnership they might not gel that well together as they're quite similar, but they're both good finishers so would score a lot.


RF, I don't like the shape of your team.

I think you should stick with the 4-2-2 formation, and Martins and Villa up front, who, in my opinion, are your best 2 strikers. Mavuba partnering de Rossi.

This won't actually be my formation, just wondering what people think of me having 3 at the back.

If you were to play the 3-4-3, I'd play Mavuba and de Rossi in the center. I think Alex should start as well, possibly over Del Piero. Villa and Martins up top, too good strikers, both which are quite fast, in the 4-4-2 of course, with the 3 strikers, try Klose behind Villa and Martins... what do you say James?

Ok ok, Villa is a great striker, but what i meant is that Klose is another brilliant striker. He is running in the Golden boot competition, and is Bremen's top goalscorer, i think he is top of the bundesliga too. Anyway, Rangers, you are gifted with many brilliant strikers, so whoever you pick may not differ to the other one, but definitely keeping Martins for a first pick, is absolutely right. ;)

The G for me.....I know that is a friendly, but if you put Ayala for Zebina and Nedved for Rothen you have a superb team.....and I like Tevez like playmaker and the couple Makaay-Gilardino......
