I had a go on SSX3 today. It feels very different to the last 2 SSX games (which were virtually the same).

It's a lot smoother and looks nicer. Let me try it a bit more and will report back....

I've just spent the last two or three hours over at my mate's house playing it and what can I say? SSX 3 is the best snowboarding game on the face of the planet, and I’m completely blown away by its quality. It combines perfect gameplay with stellar graphics, amazing sound and great value to make one of the most killer apps ever created. It’s worth your cash, it’s worth your time, and it’s worth every little bit of your soul that you put into it.

If I wasn't enjoying myself to no end with THUG, Jak II and WE7, I'd pick it up in an instant.

Wow, October has been a AAA month.

My opinion is that its worth a buy! I've played the demo and its improved greatly from SSX1 and SSX2! Good game! I'd buy it from a GAME store cause if you dont like it you can give it back and geta total refund!

Its fabulous, I loved the last two and this one just blows them away. You have loads of freedom to just board about the mountain and go do a race or whatever whenever you feellike, theres LOADs to do aswell, freestyle challenge things, races, height competition things and races down almost the entire peak! :D

I bought it tuesday and I must say the game is truly amazing.Extremly good looking graphics,gameplay,music,just everything u need to amuse yourself.Plz guys get that game and whoever doubts about it:i'm telling you=>It's AMAZING.

yeah i got it the saturday before last and its great, but ive still been drawn onto PES3 from it.

hey, i no this thread has kinda died but i am getting ssx3 for christmas. I ave never has an ssx game before and wondered if u guys could give me a general idea of the controls

Use the left analogue stick to move your player left and right. Forward gives you a little more speed and back slows you down.
As you approach a jump, hold down X and when you get to the edge of the jump, release X to jump. Holding or tapping Square gives you a speed boost - can be used just before a jump to launch you further.

While holding X for a jump, hold any direction and/or a combo of the 4 shoulder buttons to do different moves when in the air. Release everything just before you land so that you don't crash.

Use L1 and R1 to punch opponents next to you but they will get mad and try to hit you back.

I thinking of getting it too. I haven't had much experience of it though. Just a demo of the first game. Seems a good game from what I've seen and heard. I may rent it first.

SSX3 looks much nicer and smoother than the previous 2 versions. And since SSX Tricky was kinda like SSX V1.1, this is a true sequel. All the tracks are new and quite long too. Great game.

i been playin on it, prefer the races to the freestyle though, not played on it as much as i would like because of pes and THUG.

its the best of the series so far, imo
