Post the usual, comments etc.....

I would like some opinions on the following:

-with the strikers i have would it be better if i didn't play a formation such as this ?
-who would be better as the two center backs, Juan & Van Buyten/Juan & Marchena/Marchena & Van Buyten
-if i were to play a formation with two defensive midfielders and a central midfielder, would it be better if it were Mavuba/De Rossi/Smith or Mavuba/De Rossi/Frings ?

Any other tips for either teams are welcomed.:cool:

Yeah I want to know if this formation is good or I have to change too.....Rangers you have a excellent team really, I loved your midfield.....I think that will be a real great match on real life, because our teams are very balanced and we have great teams......please leave your comments for my team too.....and like the title say the score doesnt matter.......
Oh and I forgot my other subs, because I think that we only play with 7 subs : Gago, Quaresma, Kallstrom and S.Taylor....

Rangers: You have some decent strikers. Always play two, possibly three if your midfield is strong. As for the centre backs, none of them are that great, all much of the muchness. The first midfield trio looks better.

Nedy: That formation needs to be changed. You have no width. Also try and be more defensive.

As for who wins, Rangers, because his team is more solid.

Nedy for me. Although both back fours can be better. If I were you Nedy, put van Bronckhurst instead of Lee.

Rangers, your back 4 except Dede need a bit of a makeover.

- As Yossi said, atleast use 2 of your strikers, use your formations to the benefit of your squad.

- Juan and Marchena, although I think this is an area you need to improve on.

-Mavuba/De Rossi and Frings.

Its a strong team but I think you need to find a formation which brings out the best in your team and fits the best players in unless your prepared to sacrifice dropping big players. Back to the drawing board, Johnny boy. ;)


Nedy

Nice team, at first I thought it lacked width but keeping in mind Chimbonda and Lee are very attacking-minded players and Messi would be prepared to drop deep to collect the ball. I think you've got an almost complete team, maybe need a clinical finisher upfront and you will be an unbelievable team.


Overall, a great battle in the middle of the park which will prove vital to tough players who are prepared to do the dirty work where-as Nedy has flair players such as Carvahlo who are technical but less physical. Therefore, I think John's midfield will bully Nedy's. The only thing is John, bar Dede, I think your defence is a bit of a liabilty though and you'll definately need to use a defensive midfielder in your formation to protect it. After all of that rambling I've decided not to vote as its too close to tell, Nedy's attack is quality and could punish Rangers. Rangers' midfield is quality and could out-strength Nedy's. Now I have a headache.

Nedy for me,better team..
I don't know who Iaquinta is but he's probably some Argentinian hot shot,but as I said Nedys team looks better on all places so I think he'll win .

I agree with most of who said it here Nedy, you need width in your formation. Your players are great its just you need a top class striker and you're ready to go. Gio as LB is better in my opinion and maybe Quaresma as a winger would be better that Carvalho IMO.

Rangers:
- well you got three great strikers man and using at least two of them would be real good.
- I say Juan & Van Buyten is the best.
- your current midfield looks just fine to me.

I really like your team Rangers, very well balanced at all areas. just find your best formation there.

Gotta be rangers for me, his defence is a rock can't see Wiltord, Iaquinta or Messi, breaking throught the defence to often, i like the two defensive midfielders there, they are both rocks in DMF, but i think instead of having Smith in the midfield role i think but Ibagaza, and the forwards look good aswell, maybe put Maritins in the starting 11 and put Del Piero on the bench.

I also went for Rangers as I feel that his formation is much more organised than Nedy's and I think that would play a major part in the matches score.

I think that Nedy has his best team out so not much advice for that except from a formation change.

The thing about Rangers team is that he has 3 or 4 amazing strikers that could change the game easily and that would be the thing that would set the teams apart.

Draw for me, but if there is going to be a winner, I think it'd be Nedy as he has some serious firepower, not that RF doesn't, but Messi, Iaquinta, Wiltord, Daniel Carvalho and Iniesta are going to be extremely hard to stop. As RF has packed the centre of midfield though and is using quite a defensive formation, he wouldn't be over-run.

Nedy - You've got some great players there, but the formation looks quite a mess and it is a bit too attacking. Lee and Chimbonda have great stamina and can bomb forward all day long, but I still think you should use Quaresma on the wing, he's one of the best wingers in the world right now. Perhaps try to sign a good partner for Mascherano in midfield, Nakata and Gago are good, but i'm sure you can find better.

RF - I think you can be more adventurous and use a more attacking player in place of one of the centre midfielders, that could turn it your way. I liked the 4-2-2-2 formation you were using before. Mavuba and De Rossi the centre midfielders.

Rangers for me. Your formation is perfect for you players. Having 2 DMF is very smart, since your defence can be offensive during attacks. (no pun intended :tongue: )
