Jumpers for goal posts

I know that the commentary on PES2 is dire, but doesn't anyone that is currently playing WE6:fe get annoyed with some japanese guy warbling on!

Is it possible to have them just say the players names as the ball is passed around? I still have the commentary on (but with player name call switched off due to transfers!) on PES2 and I enjoy it sometimes.

In my book, if the commentary is good in PES3 and the gameplay is as good as WE6:fe then I'll stick to PES from then on! :p

I find the Japanese duo far more entertaining and some words aren't that hard to decipher "yellow cardo, intercepo, nice idea" etc.

Like tim said no one has produced patches for pes2, and the gameplay is so much better on we6fe that commentary shouldn't matter. Plus...when we do transfers we don't mess up internationals or replace existing players, and we can even put our own call names in the game easily which is more then can be said for the pes series I'm afraid. :)

isnt there a patch available somewhere for we6fe which puts the pes2 commentary on to it?

I haven't heard of one and don't think it could work as there would be phrases used in one but not the other which would leave gaps or have them talk rubbish (for a change!)

And it probably take a lot of work to do too.

The EddyB patch, yeah if you like the old "shoots! tell a lie he's missed" line along with the other ones. :D.

Before anyone asks I can't remember a site, but I know it's on a few ftps.

I always turn off the commentary and listen to music instead.
Although I would really appreciate it they could let us play with only the player names and nothing else, which is currently not available.
