Heard any rumours? Want to make up your own rumour?

Defoe has handed in a transfer request only 24 hours after his team being relegated!?! I personally think he has to move on to better his career - he should be playing in europe 'cos he's got a lot of class. My tip is he will be snapped up by Fergie, and I hope so too - I think he'd be fairly cheap (£5m ish) and will complement ruud van nistelrooy.
I just hope he doesn't go to a team like southampton, middlesbrough or LIVERPOOL :mad: hate them
Oliver Kahn is leaving Bayern in the summer and the rumour-mill is throwing man city and man united into the mix..??
I think Manu shud snap him up cos they could afford his wages and they are on the hunt for a keeper. If City got him that would be an unbelievable transfer!
I've just read that Liverpool are after eto'o :mad: he's good and i don't want liverpool buying good players. also they apparently want djibril cisse from auxerre :(
Geez, I hope your on the money with the Kahn report. Barthez's time is up and yes....we can afford Kahn, so bring him on I say.

Kahn leaving Bayern is like Beckham going to Real or Raul going to Man U.
i dont like kahn. he must stay in germany so i wont see his ugly face all the time on tv.
Kahn has been quoted as saying he wants a new challenge after this season. his contract is up for renewal anyway and it looks as though he is leaving in july

Kahn is a good goalie, but i think personally, hes getting a bit old. A wiser option for Man U would be Rustu (turkey), whos pretty young and a blinding shot stopper. Canizares, for me, is the best in the world but i doubt he'd leave Valencia.
West Ham have turned down the transfer request from Defoe.
I've heard Liverpool want Finnan and Malbranque from Fulham, Cisse from Auxerre and Boumsong (CB) from his team ;)
I really rate Eto'o who plays for Mallorca? Anyway, hes got excellent pace and decent finishing. Anyone see when Mallorca beat Real Madrid 5-1? Eto'o totally skinned Carlos!
Also, Teddy Sheringham is in talks with Millwall
Yeah i saw Eto'o make Carlos look like a muppet - unbelievable acceleration!! Liverpool are apparently after him aswell, but they seem to be linked with every decent player.
There's still the Duff rumours over a Liverpool move but I don't see it happening 'cos he only wants to leave Rovers to play in the Champions League so why would he choose Liverpool :-\
Newcastle are rumoured to be close to signing the aussie Bret Emerton (scored aussies 3rd goal v england) - very good full-back/winger who would be a great purchase for Robson at £5m!
also, van hooijdonk could be on his way to birmingham - and salas was linked with a move to st andrews the other day
brett emerton is very good here in holland. you cant get him off the ball, its a typical player who has to play in england. it would be a very good transfer for newcastle. And why doesnt man united buy a dutch keeper, dutch keepers are the best in there world.

no they aint, Van Der Sar is only 1 i know, and he aint all that.
Edwin Van der Sar, Ronald Waterreus, Sander Westerveld, Edwin Zoetbier, Maarten Stekelenburg, Patrick Lodwijks etc. In the dutch competition all the keepers are better then Barthez i know that for sure.

BBC Football reckon David Bellion has just signed for Man United. It's a free transfer cos he's out of contract and Manu have been chasing him for a while now. Is he actually any good? I hear he's got pace but much else? Where did Sunderland buy him from and how much was he?
The only thing which i know from David Bellion is that he is very fast and that Man United want to contract him last season. And Sir Alex Ferguson has followed him the whole season. But its not sure yet the both say that he havent sign a contract. And David Bellion is a French.
Man United have now been linked with a move for Uruguayan Alvaro Recoba if the move for Ronaldinho breaks down - PlanetFootball reckon if the Ronaldinho move doesn't happen or he chooses another club/league then Manu will go for Recoba - one problem could be the wages (he is 3rd highest earner in serie a) - other links are kewell&duff as fergie is looking for somebody on that left-side as either a long-term replacement for Giggs or as a attacking partner for Ruud Van.
O'Leary has been linked with the vacant Villa job by BBC Football - a 'close-friend' has said he is very interested and would be looking to do something similar with Villa to what he achieved with Leeds

Why are none of the "major" clubs being linked to Kezman at PSV ?. 34 goals this season and PSV are historically a selling club
i dont get it too why non of the major club is linked with kezman he played 31 games and scored 34 goals!!!! But PSV dont want to lose him because they dont want to be a selling club. So i think their must be paid a big price for kezman before PSV let him go. But no doubt that kezman is very good.

Well their is of course owen, beattie and defoe personally i would start Beattie and Defoe.
Given that the s.african coach is going to be fired for picking a very weak squad it's the perfect opportunity to play beattie and any other young player

I think they have changed the South Africa squad to include foreign-based players.
Isn't Kahn a bit too old now? I wouldn't want him in my team.
Robinson of Leeds is a better option.
If you want to defend Kahn, I can point you in the direction of Barthez who has never been that great in England.
Ronaldo back to Inter...........according to eurosport, real are prepared to offload him in a bid to keep solari . Real still owe Inter 10 million euros.
Cafu at 32 is out of contract at the end of the month and Milan will listen to any reasonable offers for any of their players.
Inter seem to be ready to ditch Recoba and fancy Beckham

Robinson to Man U would be better than Wrath of Khan. Better to go with a young keeper who'll be there for a while. Not sure if Defoe will go to Utd as most people have criticised him for his quick request. Reckon Utd need to sign a defender as they have alot of injury probs. Gareth Barry? How about Geremi? Also looks like Newcastle wanna sign dirty ol' Lee Bowyer! Did you also hear the rumour of Wenger going to Real!
Why doesnt buy man united Stam again?????? Lazio has financial problems so man utd could buy him back. Stam is a very very good defender for man utd. Or not?

GFK! Are you crazy?!?!? Fergie never goes back on a decision unless of course it's to do with retiring! But he would never buy back Stam...not in a million years. Anyway, Utd still have money issues over the selling to Lazio.

manchester united need a centre back to partner Rio. everyones been slating rio, but hes let a lot of goals in and made some mistakes because hes trying to do the work of two men. wes brown, mikael silvestre and o'shea are all excellent FULL BACKS! and they were not too bad as cover centre backs, but man u need a real centre back IMO

I get the feeling that if fergie is watching the likes of Kewell, Ronaldinho, Geremi, Djemba Djemba and others and also a swap deal with inter between Giggs and Recoba then he isn' happy with his midfield.
Of course fergie is looking for players like kewell etc. because when for example Real Madrid is doing a mega offer for Beckham man united can refuse that and so they must know which players will replace beckham and giggs will not go te inter im sure of that.
Thats the problem with rumours my friend, we will just have to wait and see

Only seen him play OMF but Brazil as a team seem to play more like Holland of old (total football)... so perhaps. But surely Fergie would buy Goofy II (Ronaldo is Goofy the first) as an alt for Scholes and Veron... and in fact Giggs as a poss part for RVN to mix it up? Whatever happened to Ze Roberto (was that his name?) who played for Leverkusen in the semi against Utd in last season's Champ League. He was electric for them, I seem to remember.
Ronaldinho couldn't possibly replace Scholes as he is a very poor team player. That has been his problem all season with PSG.
Ze Roberto is now in the Bayern midfield with Ballack

Juve wanted it more and I think Real were surprised at the way Juve attacked them in a very 'aggressive' style (i.e. like Man u).
Also Makelele was missing, Raul and Ronaldo were unfit and Figo choked

Figo has been known to do that if he hasn't got support around him Like WC2002. Man, Portugal were woeful. Real do need to get another DMF and a defender or 2. It does seem to be that a lot of team's success can ride on their hunger/desire and their mentality rather than just which team is better overall, etc. I mean Real were sublime against Man U.

Adding to talent is allowed you know. It's called competition.

Competition is fine but established stars like duff, ronaldinho, giggs, beckham, geremi etc. have shown that they will not happily accept being left out of games. That causes unrest in the squad and millions of pounds worth of talent wasted. Just look at Liverpool last season and the supposed competition for places leading to a better season. Heskey had nightmares but Diouff was still played wide. Baros could hardly get a game even when Liverpool couldn't even win the coin toss.

Eric Djemba-Djemba. Some young half-Frenchie playing for Nantes. An anchor-man in midfield, as far as I know. He's impressed this season, but he's not exactly what you'd define as "class."

He is part of Frances' provinicial regions, which includes Senegal and all that.

what about this youn stan fredericks in south africa, he was quite dangerous in the england game. and if man utd get kewell or ronaldinho, they wont get the other. and if the get kewell, they wont get duff(vice-versa). as for arsenal in for carew, NO CHANCE!! hes so bad! they would want someone like trezeguet, whom they know can play well with henry. i think rustu couldve been believable if sorensen of sunderland wasnt for sale. they could get a keeper who could almost be as good as rustu if he has the talent in front of him that seaman, shabaan, and taylor do at arsenal. as for kezman, he'll be playing in italy(lazio(bankrupt, but lopez is leaving which can get them some money, and mendieta will be leaving soon, even more)or maybe even roma, who are in a bit of a striker loss right now) but he probably wont move to the premiership(is it just me, or does it seem like soon enough i'll eat those words)

If Ronaldinho is as selfish as has been written, will he go to Man United? Wouldn't have thought the manager would buy someone who may not fit well into the team.
And if he did go, would he be replacing someone like Veron?
Will this season be a last chance for Veron?
I'm not sure how well he did in Serie A which is supposed to be a lot harder than the premiership but he has big changes in form when he plays in England. Sometimes great but mostly very poor and giving away possession too much.

Why rule out Carew? He is a cheap but good player and buying him would allow us to buy some other players. Buying Trezeguet would mean that we could not buy other players.
Man U can get who they won't especially if both Beckham and Giggs move. Then maybe a Duff and Ronaldinho double transfer will not seem so unbelieveable.

im saying that why would they buy three players who play in a similar position, especially three world class players(im fond of all three, if only celtic had 150 million pounds to spend) and carew, he just isnt any good up front. he is great at heading, but shite at everything else. with the players in the midfield behind him, he should be getting upwards of 30 goals a season, but he fails to produce 7? shoddy player in my eyes, but he might change along side henry. so im not writing him off, im just saying that he doesnt seem very good from what ive seen of valencia.

After reading the papers and the gossip websites, I understand that he will become the goal-keeping coach. He will be taken over from Bob Wilson, but I haven't a clue who will replace him.

i've always wondered how bob wilson, at his age, could be a goalkeeping coach. i mean, its much more physichal than a regular coach. and seaman wont play again, i reckon the charity(sorry, community) shield will be his final hurrah. if it is, three cheers for the best keeper arsenal have ever had.

Carew is a quality player. Ive watched Valencia alot this year and hes class. He holds the ball up so players like Baraja, Rufete and Aimar can spring forward and attack, because they come from deep cuz valencia play 4-4-1-1. He's what arsenal is missing a big target man up the front.

but carew is a "striker", who doesnt score goals. and, it doesnt seem like arsenal really loft the ball in the air, they play a classy game on the ground(ie the second goal against birmingham at highbury or one of the goals(cant remember) against bolton at the reebok) and even when they do, henry only needs 3 touches to score(man city, anyone?). so arsenal dont need a target man as they scored plenty of class goals this season and like to take it to the by-line and knock it into henry/wiltord/ljungberg/pires/gilberto/bergkamp/vieira.

Del Bosque will not leave he has just signed a new contract and Real is also not in red because they have selled their trainingscomplex which lays in the middle of the MAdrid. They received € 500000000 for it so they can get out of the red marks.

A cheaper option would Be LOPEZ he is free because Lazio have'nt paid him since November

There is a Page on the Everton site that says Jeffers wants to come back to Goodison Park. I personally would love to have Jeffers back as i believe he is a wasted talent at Arsenal. Before he moved to Highbury he formed a shit hot partnership with Kevin Campbell, and i would love to see him along side Rooney next season. Could be a very interesting partnership.
And what do you guys think of Kluivert?? He is only € 1,8 !!!!!!!!!!!! I think thats a very cheap buy for such a good player. I think Arsenal must buy him directly because i think kluivert and henry are undefeatable.
