I'm a bit torn. I'll have to post my opinion later. Really tight match.

2 strong defences, with Hunter's being slightly more so for me, with Van der Sar in goal and a better centre back pairing.

The midfield and forwards are where Hunter wins it, though. The quartet of J.Cole/Diarra/Davids/Duff is really top drawer, and Duff and Cole would pose a big threat on the wings, the contests with G.Neville and Zambrotta would be great to watch. 2 of the best wingers facing 2 of the best full-backs in Europe. Diarra's tackling ability and positional sense combined with Davids' engine and playmaking ability would see them take a stranglehold of the midfield.

Ronaldo and Nihat have incredible pace so would be hard for the superb Andrade and Juanma to contain. Ibrahimovic and Kaka are the dangermen from Phat's team, but with Diarra and Davids on Kaka, and Cannavaro on Zlatan, I think Hunter has very good men for the job.

Phat you could do with more beef in central midfield. Nolan and Gattuso are fighters and will do well but overall I think that Davids and Diarra will hit you hard. I know it may be a crime to look to your bench for help here, but I can't help but think that you should have a strong central midfielder there as opposed to two forwards.

Two very good keepers.

Hunter's midfield is excellent, no real weakness at all. I also prefer your defence. Great central pair, with good pace and power at full back either side. I suppose it's only fair to comment on your bench as I have with Phat, so in a nutshell: get rid of Scholes - he is crap. Doesn't tackle, doesn't score, passing is okay but you can find many who do it better. He'll get you the odd vote, but purely out of reputation not ability.

Two very good forward pairings. McBride is a smaller name, but a big player... very dangerous and alert. Ibra is off form compared to last season, but still a big danger. Ronaldo and Nihat is very promising.

Another hard one but Hunter edges it due to his midfield and centre backs.

Ronaldo is falling off a bit and nihat doesn't deserve to be in the same front line of him

i also don't rate davids much anymore

i see mcbride scoring one on a header from a set-piece to win it

I think Hunter can win this game. He has a good team, and Ronnie-Nihat can be a dangerous partnership. Phat has great players in Kaka and Ibrahim, but Hunter has players that can equally match with them. I think i will go for Hunter.

Hunter's midfield is excellent, I like the pairing of Diarra and Davids. Duff and Cole are fantastic when on form. Hunter's defense is also strong, apart from Heinze at the moment. Great team, one that is hard to beat.

Phat - I think you could have been a better team if you paired Terry and Andrade together, or atleast Terry and Juanma. Big change he can make. But I do know you are rotating, so I do understand. You're attacking force is brilliant! All on form. Nothing wrong with your formation.

The main factor that made me pick Hunter is his defensive midfield. It's so solid and it will be difficult to break down.

The two defenses are quite strong. Andrade and Juanma are doing well this season, nice choice. The midfield is where Phat wins it for me. Gattuso and Nolan who are both rough men, could give Diarra and Davids a hell of a time, along with Seedorf. Lots of brute force in your midfield. Then Kaka feeding Zlatan and Mcbride. I think you should have played Owen in place of Mcbride, but I think you may have because of rotation, but yeah. Anyways, Hunter, you've got a nice center mid pairing and some really good wings. Ronaldo and Nihat would be a good pairing, if Ronaldo had all of his tools sharp. :)

Very, very tight. Hunter's team are a little more equal in ability, whereas Phat tends to have a mixture of world class players and relatively lesser known ones. I reckon that overall it's all extremely close, but Phat edges it. I'm going to put it down to home advantage.

Yet another tight match but i think Hunter will edge it. I'd say Hunter has a slightly better defence than Phats. The key to this match would be the midfield battle, where Phat may edge it. With Gattuso in the defensive midfield role it could help try and keep Davids at bay throughout some of the match. Seedorf and Nolan could cause problems but i feel Hunter has the better wingers in Duff and Cole, both very skillfull and pace. The reason why i think Phats could take the midfield battle is because of the attacking flair Kaka could produce, he certainly would casue problems and feeding through Zlatan would cost dearly to Hunter. Although Phats may win the midfield battle slightly i think Hunter takes the game through his strikeforce. Ronaldo and Nihat together will be a great partnership. If Phats had someone other than McBride partnering Zlatan then the outcome of this match could be different.
