HP for me.......amazing midfield and one of the best strikers in the world.......

Thanks Ned. :)

Steve, you've got a good team bro. I like Ze Roberto and Schweinsteiger on the wings, they are both very good. Stam is getting old and sloppy, maybe slotting Oleguer in would be a good choice, as he's having a pretty good season. Other than that, it loooks good. Good luck.

HP for me.

His midfield is almost unstoppable. HP's defence is rock solid with Carragher and Maldini, I don't think they will having too much trouble containing Montella and Larsson with a bit of hard work. With the amazingly creative midfield, I think HP would run things in the middle of the park although Ballack and Cocu could prove a good match for them. Schweiny and Ze Roberto are great wingers, no problems there mate, but I don't think Cicinho and Abidal would get skinned, it would be a great contest though. With Eto'o leading HP's attack he would finish off the many chances Ronaldinho and co. would create for him.

HP also. Stronger defence, and a very robust and talented midfield.

Colt is closer than you think though. Cocu and Ballack are dangerous and powerful. Schweinsteiger, Larsson and Lahm are also very capable of causing HP problems.

HP

His defence is rock solid. They could be tough for Larsson and Montella to try and break through, with the help of Ballack though they certainly could create something. HP's midfield would dominate here, it's just full of class. Saying that, so is Colt's. With players such as Sweinsteiger, Ballack, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Xavi this match certainly wouldn't lack any creativity. Anything that get's through to Eto'o though could cause problems for Colt's defence. With Eto'o being up their on his own that would mean HP's winger's would come up and help, players like Petrov and Robinho would cause even more problems for Colt's defence. Exciting game here, two great teams but HP get's it.

I think i will go with HP, he has a great team and his midfield is over this world. Eto't being his striker aswell (and with his current form) can be deadly anytime. Abidal and Cicinho are good, especially Cicinho who did score last time. Abidal though is injured, Lahm is much better in that particualr department. Colt's midfield is also great, with Cocu playing so well lately and scoring too. Ballack is wonderful aswell, and you have dangerous wingers in Bastian and Ze Roberto. But, HP's midfield looks very strong to me. Ronaldinho, the main force.

Overall, i think Hp takes this. But a great game Colt indeed.

I think Colt will win this. HP's got great attacking players who dribble, pass and shoot well, but Stam is still excellent on his day, and Ismael, Cafu and Lahm are good defenders too. Petrov is great down the wing, but Cafu's capable of keeping him quiet. Cocu is perfect in front of the back four.

Colt's midfield four are also not bad defensively, and Ze Roberto could sneak in behind Cicinho if he roams forward a little too much. Larsson and Montella should keep Carragher and Maldini busy too. I can see lots of Colt's play going down the flanks, which Xavi and Demichelis will often not be guarding. Eto'o will probably score one himself by sneaking through the central defence to convert a Ronaldinho pass. Colt to win 2-1.

Colt's forwards just aren't D1 quality, his midfield is nice, i think schweinie is overrated a bit and his backs are above average

HP's got great offensive creativity, but he'd be better off putting robinho into a more attacking role and pulling xavi back a bit as he creates from the back better than everyone....your formation could definately use some tweaking but your team is a great one

I agree, I think 4-3-3 is the best option, Binho and Dinho won't be as dangerous back there. The full backs and Colt's midfield are strong defensively so could crowd them out. Eto'o is dangerous, but Stam could frustrate him, he has the pace to just about cope, and his reading of the game and experience would make it hard for Eto'o to beat him. However, I can't see where Colt would score here, as HP has a great shot-stopper and two fantastic centre backs, maybe if a loose ball drops to Ballack he could put one away. HP has a more talented XI, but Colt's tactics/formation are better here. Taking all that into account, I think this would finish as a draw, probably 0-0.

Yeah, I'm definately going to tweak the formation a bit. I'll eventually find the right mix of players and a good formation. A 4-3-3 is at the top of the list of formations I'm going to try.

Thanks for the votes.

To be honest, it isn't really close. HP would pretty much dominate Colt in practically every position, except maybe in Colt's attacking midfield. HP- drop Xavi back and play a 4-2-3-1.

Sorry Colt but HP wins I think, Gotta find some world class strikers but other than that your team is great. The reason I said HP wins is that Dinho and Robinho (even if Dinho isn't on a great form) are just too good.. the rest is class aswell.
