Oooh.. very close game.

With both teams playing similar formations its easier to match player to player, and judging by that I have to go for Barry. Sorry Yossi, it was very tight.

Edit: I voted for Yossi on the poll by accident. Can you take it into account my votes to Barry. Sorry.

Close match. Yossi will get my vote, because of a stronger defense. Other than that, the teams are pretty equal.

Yossi:

Very solid backline. Good looking midfield. Dynamic forwards. Enough said.

Barry:

Great Gk, very good defence. You only need to improve on Mellberg I think, although he is a good defender. I'd play Maniche and Veron together in central MF, not seperated in a diamond like that. Powerful front line that'll get you goals.

I think this all comes down to the central midfield battle, which I think Yossi will just about win. So there's my vote. Unlucky though Barry ;)

I forgot to say that for me, Yossi has the best defense in the D2.......

Both teams are very equal for me, but as most said. The defense of Yossi's is class. I hate to say but with Barry's, with Lauren, Mellberg and Veron have been on a poor form. But on any day, Drogba and Crespo can be very dangerous, especially Crespo. But then again, Yossi has Mutu who is currently almost unstoppable. To hard to pick honestly, but I go with Yoss. Well done lad.

Veron and Maniche should swap positions in Barry's line-up. Maniche is capable of some defensive work, whereas Veron is a total playmaker.

As for this match, Yossi should take a 1-0 with his solid backline and options down the flanks, in Sylvinho and Trabelsi. Drogba and Crespo might not be too good as a partnership, and with Forlan and Mutu, Yossi will probably score a goal and get a comfortable league win.

I agree with Figo, Veron as a holding midfielder just wouldn't work well at all. Yossi's defence looks impregnable, very solid, Mellberg and Lauren have been poor recently, so Aimar, Forlan and Mutu can take advantage of that and score a goal or two. Barry has good potential in his team, lots of talent, but I don't think the system he's using here would work.

a bit of a rough midfield for you barry, the side mids are old and outta form and veron and maniche (whos wasting his time in russia) are outta place, fix that mistake definately.

Yossi has the best formation ive seen everyone fits in perfectly, great work

For certain. Maniche is covering for Essien as he's out with an injury, when Essien returns, i'm not sure where that'll leave him, probably on their star-studded bench.

Allrgiht allright, thanks for the advice lads. Im new here, but I'll learn. i just felt Veron might not work as an AMF, mainly because I always felt he wasnt an attacking mid.

Yossi

As many have said he has an unstoppable defence, could keep Drogba and Crespo at bay for this match, they'll be having a hard time trying to get through on goal. Also as manyhave said again, Maniche and Veron are out of position so this would help Yossi to take advantage with Aimar going past Veron, with Maniche their though it would be a different story. With the support of Aimar, Forland and Mutu could cause Barry's defence some problems. Although going by current form, Forlan doesn't seem the most likely to score but will still reek havock.

Let me get this right:

Maniche swap with Veron
Crespo and Drogba not playing together
Mellberg out

Right>?

I agree though, his defence is top of the bill.

Yeah swap Maniche and Veron about, Maniche's more defensive and Veron's more attacking
Their's nothing wrong with Crespo and Drogba upfront, just it's hard in this match as Yossi has such a good defence.
Maybe replace Mellberg with Ujfalusi.

I agree with Maniche swapped for Veron and maybe Mellberg out, but I disagree with the 2nd one, Crespo and Drogba could form a deadly partnership. The pace and power of Drogba and technical ability and finishing of Crespo, sounds very good to me. Infact, sometimes when Mourinho switches to 4-4-2 with Crespo and Drogba, they link up very well. I think Drogba plays a lot better with a strike partner anyway, thats for sure.

Yeah, Maniche and Veron swapped. Ljungberg and Pires on the wings, they're too central there and wouldn't be so effective. Tomas Ujfulasi instead of Mellberg. Bojinov and Drogba would work quite well as a strikeforce imo.

Allright cheers there mates. I've been working on some new formations, was trying a winger 4-3-3, but i dont have any real wingers, so its probably gonna be 4-4-2.

11-2  I was expecting this to be close, I must say I am rather surprised. Barry has one of the strongest teams in the league as well, so this is a bloody great start for me, unless something unexpected happens.

10-3, I think with a few minor changes you should bounce back with a win. Who have you got next game, Barry?

I think Yossi takes this one tactically but i will cast my vote for Barry because i think that his team could manage to score one with Crespo and Drogba up front and Maniche, Veron, Ljungberg and Pires creating chances.

I can't believe that Yossi is winning this. Going forward he has next to nothing...

Barry just played the wrong tactics I guess.
