Very good matchup here. The defence and midfield on both teams are good and of similar ability. The midfield battle would be very closely fought. Manuel Fernandes and Javier Mascherano are 2 of the best young midfielders in world football, so it'd be interesting to see who those 2 facing one another. I feel the key to this match would be Messi and Quaresma, I think they'll help turn the game in Nedy's favour here and nick it for him in a tight contest.

Extremely close. Right the way through both teams it's very difficult to see either being completely dominant. Having said that though, I think that Top Gun's central midfield has a decent chance of over powering Nedy's. I don't like Smith in the midfield role, and whilst he is a fighter with good technique, I think he'll lose out. I'm a big fan of Eider G too, he'll join the forwards and midfield brilliantly for TG and, with the ball going to Cassano and Yak, I would think that TG's team will pose more of a threat on goal.

I'm going to have to go for Top Gun I think.

I think I am going for Top Gun. He does have good players, and someone like Gudjohnsen orchestrating the attack can deliver sublime passes to Cassano and Yakubu who can finish well. Both your keepers are excellent, nothing much to say there. Quaresma, Wiltord and Messi looks dangerous imo.

But what wins it for Top Gun is his defense is a better than Nedy's.

I vote for Top Gun. But Nedy, excellent squad. Messi is brightening your team very well, ;)

Another very tight game here but Nedy edges it, this is why:

Although Top Gun has a very good defence Nedy has a very good attack which could cause problems. Quaresma, Wiltord, Messi, that's one pacey and skillfull frontline Top Gun has to take care of, maybe with Fernandes coming back it could help but i honestly think Nedy will get the advantage here. Midfield i'd say the teams are equal. Nedy has a great up and coming midfield with Mascherano and Iniesta. Alan Smith he could be good holding midfielder, puts in good crunching tackles here and there which pay off. As i said Nedy has the better strikers, pacey and skillfull, what more can you ask for. Maybe if it were someone other than Yakubu pairing Cassano it could be different altogether.
