Hehe, that's my file. :) Just want to say again that it's for the Xbox version. I'm probably not going to bother editing all the Other leagues teams as I won't play with them much before the PES 5 to WE 9 Option file converter is released.

There are 3 errors in my Option file that I know about:

On the Edit stadium name screen, stadium 12/27 should be "Berlin Olympia Stadion", stadium 18/27 should be "La Bombonera" and stadium 20/27 should be "Niigata 'Big Swan' Stadium".



Well, it's kind of tough to do that when you're at work. Thank goodness for break time though. Here's some of the information on what the file contains as posted by the guy that edited it:

here is the state of my Option file. It has:

-Correct names for every club team
-Proper emblems for most of the non-licensed club teams
-Correct names for every stadium
-Correct player names for the English, French, German, Italian, Dutch and Spanish Leagues
-Correct player names for Benfica and Fenerbache

-No editing done to countries
-No edited stats
-Default kits
-Only two transfers: Roy Keane to Celtic and Baros to Aston Villa

The 10 teams listed below still have fake player names. The number given is the order in which the teams appear on the Edit team screen.

I just fixed the player names for Germany, Netherlands and USA. Click on the "WorldSocce_OPTIONFILE.zip" link and then on "+ more details about this file" to see details of exactly what's in my Option file.

I updated Feanor's option file. Now it has:
Almost all 2005-2006 transfers
all existing logo assigned to its team
Nike Vapor in different colors
Puma in different colors
Nike Total 90 in different colors
Ivory Coast and Senegal national teams have been slightly updated
Liverpool and Fulham's edited jerseys

Again, this is just an update to Feanor's work. Stayed up all night doin this. Its 6a.m now, and i need some sleep. I'll get back to my task when i wake up. Let me know if y'all like it, so I can keep doin this. And any suggestion would be appreciated.

Not sure if it worked or not.... It looked to me as though the transfers weren't done; I just glanced at the rosters and Solano was still on Villa

Did you look in Team Formation? Sometimes transfer don't show up in the Edit Player section.

Yeah Solano still isn't there in team formation. Also, I don't see the edited boots and kits that he spoke of; it looks the same as Feanor's option file to me. Maybe he uploaded the wrong one...?

I imported the logos, and they show up, but then I have to go and manually assign them to the teams (assign the Man U log to them, instead of the "red devil" logo, for example). There are quite a few teams that I don't know what their logo even looks like, so it's hard for me to get it right...

Am I doing something wrong; or should I just copy the entire file, instead of importing?!? If I do that though, then I lose my WEN!! Help please...

It worked for me. Everything you've done looks great. The only thing left to do is the kits but so far it's near perfect.

Finished about 98 percent kits/badges for Premier league. A few corrected badges for other leagues as well, but minimal.

Sorry, i'm not new to WE but i am new to the whole option file process. Do i need a modded xbox? Will all of these work with the US version? Where can i find instructions on how to get them from my computer to working with the game?

No you don't need a modded xbox. Just buy an xbox Max Drive (they are region specific so make sure you get the US version) and use it to transfer the option file.

In the US, it's easier to get an Action Replay than a Max Drive, although they both function the same way and read the same files.

It works fine for me. The only thing left to do is the international kits and it would be finished.

i'm new to this forum and was just curious how the editing works. can you import images (ie overwrite them) individually or do you actually have to edit the option file piece by piece and overwrite that as a whole?

Is it not possible to get the circle around the numbers on the front of the international kits made by Nike. I've been trying to find out how and I can't seem to get it.

Bad news is that you can't add thec ircle without patching....

Good news is that Nike just released their new kits for the 2006 World cup and there are no circles on the jerseys...

Option files can't do that. Only patches can do that and you need a modded xbox.

Ok, after loading this option file I get the name of each player on top of the cursor every time I select the player during the game. How in the heck can we turn that off?? I tried everything. PLEASE HELP!!!

There's always people asking this. Noobs. Go to Player Settings and then on your cursor press O and right until it says Default.

Knowing the available options in your game is a good step.

No. You have to get used to L1 and L2 switched if you play on xbox.

First off great job in editing the league. I read through the posts but curious if the announcers would say the names of the modified plays even though they exist in the national teams. Perfect example would be simao sabrosa from benfica. He is on the national team so do you guys copy him from the national team so the announcer would say his name or you create him from scratch? There are many players that in the same boat.

Excellent file. UEFA Cup and Champions Cup are mixed, small mistake, you can fix that yourself and the different league( for ex EPL is Prima Liga), easy to fix. Valencia home stadium is the Mestalla but in the game it shows the Riazor, can fix that too.

I have searched the forums, and found nothing about my weird problem, which is:
I downloaded the file at http://files.filefront.com/PES5_to_WE9_OF_by_Lilayezip/;4761248;;/fileinfo.html (the link right above my post) and I just got an action replay for the xbox. other game files are ok to copy, but when i try to copy the option file from the memory card to the xbox on the dashboard, it only gives me a delete option but no copy option. has anyone experienced this kind of a problem, or have any idea? could it be the file?

I was trying things, i also realized that it doesn't give me the option to copy my original option file to the memory card from the xbox hard drive. i can copy other game files.

Have you tried loading the game and using "WE Data control?" It is in Options in the main menu.

i figured that out tonight. that way i get the option to copy from memory card. now i have a different problem. it starts loading from the memory card to copy, and then says damaged file, it can't load. it's what i downloaded from the link. i tried another downloaded file and it said the same thing and obviously people are using them. has anyone had this problem?

Sorry to raise this old thread again, but Im wondering if this option file was ever posted again with all the points and 100% stuff opened? I just installed it, and it's friggin' great as it is. I just miss the classic teams that I had unlocked on my own before installing this.
