Hunter wins the rematch of the promoted, the rivalry is renewed
the only week spot on hunters line up are maybe the forwards b/c nihat isn't of the highest order but if ronaldo is on form he will more than make up for it as the slashing runs of duff and cole would set him up
muads team certainly isn' bad here, his fwd pair is better but he just barely loses the midfield battle and his defense isn't on the same level as hunters
Muad for me......maybe Hunter defense is better, but the two forwards that Muad has are really amazings......

Hunter for me. I don't really like Deco on the left side, he should stay in the middle. I also think Diarra and Davids would dominate in the center of the park. Duff and Cole are in good form too, so they'd also be dangerous. Only thing that could be improved is a partner for Ronaldo, of a different combo, as I'm still not confident in Ronaldo.
Muad, Galllas should be in the center for you and that's about all I can think of. Good squad. Shame you've had to face some hard opponents so early on.

I think Hunter would win this one. The midfield battle between Marquez/Van Bommel and Davids/Diarra would be interesting, and could go either way, however, Hunter has a more dangerous attack with Cole and Duff bombing forward, and Davids breaking forward from midfield supporting the very pacy duo of Ronaldo and Nihat. Also, his defence is stronger, I feel Cannavaro and Mexes would cope better against Adriano and Cisse than Kompany and Hyypia would against Ronaldo and Nihat.
Hmm, tight contest, but I feel Hunter would shade it. Muad's midfield doesn't look right at all- it should be a diamond, like this:
----------------------------------------------
----------------------Marquez-----------------
---------van Bommel-------------Deco---------
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------Garcia------------------
-----------------------------------------------
As a result of a narrow midfield, Hunter's quality wingers would be a threat. I also feel that his strikers would cause more problems to Muad's defence than vice versa. Although Muad has a strong attacking midfield, Hunter has two defensive minded central midfielders to stop them, just about.
Muad, I think your formation is great and you put out someone who can help Adriano now. Djibril, I think it's a fantastic partnership that many managers should look out for. I like your formation really. Hunter has a fab formation too, but I think Muad's strikers are a bit better. Nihat and Ronaldo look good together, but Adriano and Cisse looks even better imo. I haven't seen much of Duff really, so I can't comment on him. I doubt Deco is great as the left sided player, but he can provide long balls and good crosses nonetheless. Both defences look brilliant, I think Cannavaro and Mexes is a great partnership, I think just a wee better than Muad's Kompany and Hyppia. Aurelio has been great lately and so I feel he can get the better of Hinkel. Gallas also has been on a good run lately bar last night. I think Heinze can provide a tough test for him, I think Heinze will win that battle. Diarra and Davids is just as equal as Bommel and Marquez. But I think it's Muad's strikeforce that will win this game.

I seem to say this everytime I type a response, but this is very close!
Defence:
I think that Hinkel and Gallas are pretty equally matched at right back. Aurelio and Heinze the same. However we have no way of judging how Heinze would be playing right now, and so i'll have to give a slight advantage to Aurelio who is in good form of late. In the centre we can see two very talented pairings. Cannavaro and Hyypia have seen and done it all, and Mexes and Kompany are both very promising and capable players too. I really can't call it in terms of defences, as they're both superb.
Midfield:
For me Van Bommel and Marquez will win the central battle. Diarra is a very good player, and Davids can still just about cut it too, but the power and technique of Muad's pair should give him an edge.
Deco on the left may mean he's not as effective as usual, but I expect him to drift around a bit in search of a gap through which to launch a killer pass. Garcia is a very good player, but that said I would favour Cole and probably Duff over him as well. There is a huge amount of pace, technique and goal scroing threat coming from Hunter's wide men there.
Forwards:
Adriano and Cisse looks good as they have the ability to stretch any defence in the world. However I don't see many goals coming from Cisse. He just isn't clinical enough infront of goal for my liking.
Ronaldo is a big threat, but I'd take Adriano ahead of him at the moment. Nihat is another very talented forward who should be able to craft an opening or two and use it to punish Muad.
This is extremely difficult to judge but I feel that Hunter has a slightly better chance of putting the ball in the back of the net. The difference being that whilst Cisse will stretch a defence, he doesn't stand that greater chance of scoring, whereas Hunter has four players who can do both. So that's where my vote goes. I see it being a 2-1 at worst. Very tight though Muad.
What a match, some fantastic midfield battles. I'd certainly clean my agenda to see this one in real life. Probably the closest Ive seen yet of all matches.
I think Muad edges it on the midfield with Van Bommel(after seeing him for years, I know his qualities all too well) and Marquez, which is a most important area.

Hunter, just. I prefer his central defense pair and feel he has more to offer on the wings.
