I'm gonna go for RoP to cause an upset here and take points of Preki. d'Alessandro will neglect his defensive duties, leaving Keane and Zokora against 3 good midfielders in Pienaar, Gilberto and Gravesen which could allow them to gain an upperhand. The backline have plenty of experience and would limit the chances for Toni to score. Giuly and Karimi are very quick and creative and will support Tomasson in attack, and will take advantage of any gaps Maxwell and Mancini may leave behind them.

Kalou and Toni are very dangerous, so I think Preki will score, however will be held to a 1-1 draw.

Karimi James, I think you dropped Nasri from the proposed line up.

Anyways, I like the 3 mids in RoP and am confident that they could take the upperhand in battling Zokora and Keane. Giuly and Karimi would give Tomasson a lot of chances and with his ability, he'd probably finish off 1 or 2. That being said, Toni, Kewell, and Kalou is a dangerou attack and could probably also get 1 or 2.

I don't think he'd need to get forward, Karimi, Giuly and Tomasson are all very dangerous in attack.

Extremely close, but RoP would just edge it. Their midfield is slightly stronger than Preki's and their defence is better. Preki has a better strikerforce, however overall I reckon RoP have a slightly better all round team.

I vote for Preki. Kalou and Kewell are pacey and deliver bullseye crosses, that Toni can take care of. D'allesandro is a great playmaker too, and having Zokora and Keane as defensive midfielders (esp. Zokora on a great form) I feel RoP will have a hard time breaking them down. Both have great midfields and defenses, but I think Preki's attacking force will get this one. Close to call though.

RoP are solid in all areas, but I feel that they may well be too flat in central midfield. They have great power and ball winning ability there, but I think the excellent attacking trio or Giuly, Tomasson and Kalou may be a litte too isolated.

Preki will certainly be able to compete in midfield, and I think that he has a better link up between midfield and the forwards. I'd put defences down as pretty equal, but overall a slilght advantage to Preki who I think has superior full backs.
