Refs in replays...

I had a great replay saved for this thread, where I nutmegged the ref....I just went to capture it, and the ref's gone!! First time I've noticed the refs aren't in the replays, however when I originally watched it, during the game, he was in it....

Moral of the story, if you do anything funny involving the ref, capture it straight away if you can...

how on earth can you capture it straight away? Surely by the time you realise "hey up, that was funny and it involved the ref" it will be too late.

Well, If anything funny or unusual happens, I press the start button, (PS controller) and go down to 'replay' at the bottom of the menu, which replays the last 5 seconds or so of play...

If I was playing in a window, rather than full screen, I'd be able to minimize the window, start up Fraps and capture it...

...or indeed if there is a way of switching from full screen to window whilst in the middle of a game that I don't know about,I could do that and start Fraps.....

Or, if you've got processor speed to spare, which I haven't, you could play with Fraps (or whatever you use..) running all the time, just in case anything funny happens...

That's 2, maybe 3 ways...

I nutmegged the ref too, just two days ago. I didn't think it was worth saving though. I did watch the replay, and he was there. I don't know if he would've been there if I had saved it though. This is on the Xbox by the way.

Yeah, It wasn't anything earth-shattering...I was probably thinking more of a 2 second comedy snippet in my next compilation...(which I'm uploading now...should be up in 5 minutes or so...)
