I go for Preki, because his attack is very good and will do problems in Barry defense.....

Tight game. I think Barry has a tighter defense over all, while Preki's attack seems stronger, just slightly though. I'd have to vote for Barry as I think he's made a huge turn around. Good stuff bro and good luck through the season.

Fuerza Bravo!

Preki has a slightly stronger defence, and he has more dangerous on form wingers and forwards.

Vast improvement in Barry's lineup. Defensively, Preki has better full-backs, while Barry has better centre backs and the best goalkeeper in the world, therefore i'd give Barry the edge in that department.

In midfield, the contest is pretty even, Kalou is far better than Ljungberg, but if Pires finds his feet, he can pose more of a threat than Beasley, and the centre midfields are quite equal, however Maniche offers the biggest threat going forward, as he can shoot from just about anywhere.

In attack, I prefer the look of Barry's frontline, Toni and Fred are a lethal duo who could put away any half chances that come there way, however I think Bojinov and Crespo would gel together better, and have superior link-up play. Barry nicks it.

Preki gets my vote. his strikers are in amense form at the moment so he wouldnt have any problems in getting goals. Kalou and Beasley could cause problems for Lauren and Raul Bravo, threading through balls for Toni and Fred could be costly. Although with Buffon in nets, there could be slight glitches in getting goals. I don't think Ljungberg and Pires would cause many problems for Maxwell and Mancini, both players arn't really in form at the moment. Bojinov and Crespo may be able to nick a goal though, with Maniche playing in his lovely balls they should be able to get atleast 1 goal in this game.

I'd put the centre back partnerships on a roughly equal rating, whilst Preki has the better full backs. Two very good goalkeepers, but Buffon is comfortably the best goalkeeper in the world so an advantage to Barry there.

The midfield battle is a close one. There should be a great competition between Zokora - Kobiashvili and Maniche - Flamini, but I see Maniche's experience and Flamini's workrate and dedication getting the advantage here. Ljungberg will not pose much of a problem to Raul Bravo. Pires, when on form, is certainly a better player than Beasley, but the way Pires is playing at the moment doesn't bode well for Barry. I give the advantage to Barry in midfield.

Up front the duo of Fred and Toni is very good indeed. The form that they're both in will cause great problems for Barry's centre backs. That said Crespo has been playing well of late, and Drogba had a pretty decent ACN. I put it down as pretty damn level here.

In reality I think that this match has 'Draw' written all over it, however I see that Preki is yet to vote and so he'd take a lead when he does. As i've said, this game doesn't deserve to be won or lost so Barry it is.

Very very tight game. I think the full backs ability goes in favour of Preki just, however as mentioned before Buffon is the bets goalkeeper in the world. Therefore making it extremely difficult for Toni and Fred to score, however I think Toni will get 1 goal but thats all I can see happening positively for Preki up top. Barry's CB's would really make it hard for Preki and his team to force and attack. Bojinov and Crespo is a nice combination, I think Crespo's aerial ability and also experience will ensure them a goal or two.

The midfield battle is very equal, the central scrap will be tough but I think Barry just edges it. I also think the wingers are even too, Ljunberg simply isn't a match for Kalou but Pires is about equal with Beasley I think. Both can cause threats, but in different ways. So for me the midfield is even(ish).

Preki 1 - 2 Barry

Very close game but with great attacks from each side. Crespo and Boijinov would link up well and Crespo has been on hot form lately. Then there Toni and Fred, pace and strength in the partnership and we, obviously, know how deadly Toni has been this season. Grerat battle in midfield, Maniche wouldn't find himself in too much space to spread the ball with Zokora snapping at him, which is a big lift for Merseyside. Ljungberg and Pires don't play well together for Arsenal and one is usually left out if the other plays, both have been fairly poor this season so thats a real downer of Barry's strong midfield. Beasley and Lauren would be a good battle to see, Lauren might just edge it with some tackles to "let him know hes there" king of thing. Kalou would roast Brava every day of the week. The centre backs on both teams will be up for a hard challenge with the great strikeforces, but overall I'm going for Preki, just. Maybe the fact that he is losing by two influenced my vote slightly as the game is so close and as Martin said, it probably had "draw written all over it".

Allright cheers for that lads, as usual. Who do you think should replace Ljungberg? For the cup Im trying out a formation with Liedson in a free role on the wing, where Ljungberg is playing in this match. Free role, more offensive, means the wingback could overlap too.

why did i have to be the guy who barry plays when he finally figures it out, also id like to point out that people aren't voting with the right frame of mind

you are voting for who you think would win, you really shouldn't let the score line effect your vote as things can swing in a different direction
