The much highly anticipated and hotly awaited dwevans option file returns with 100% January Transfers in v3

The ULTIMATE master league experience

The third installment of the most realistic option file around.

Based originally on flippers champions league option file, with additions from those of pesfan, Level6 and a few others

100% player names
100% kits
100% team names
100% transfers
100% league names
100% stadium names

All Classic Teams are now the under 21 national sides of the respective countries so classic players don't pop up in the master league...

However...classic players replace the duplicates so many of them are still in the game just for the sake of being there..you can transfer them etc, but they cannot appear in the master league...

Players with ability to Flip Flap/Elastico Altered...Now the list includes...Ronaldinho, Robinho, Ronaldo, C. Ronaldo, Wilhelmsson, Ibrahimovic, Quaresma, Denilson, Okocha, Porrit, Messi and last but not least TRUNDLE...

If any others can be suggested in the place of Messi i will alter in due course...(though they have to be able to qualify for Argentina under 21's)

(EDIT: I have been asked how i do this: You can't just give the flip flap to players as an ability...only a certain few players have it and you have to effectively swap the player you want to have it with the one who does...e.g in my option file:robinho - rivelinho, quaresma - cisse, trundle - rosales etc etc)

All appearances up to date from all appearance creators...credit to California Clown, Cammemboy. Rayishare, rab1888, Villene, delperio, The Red Dwarf & Old Man from all the varying pro evo communities

Many boots updated with the largest range of boots available..even the default master leaugue players boots changed so they don't all have type 1,1 boots

Major credit to PLF, delperio and Red Phoenix who are doing a fantastic job with stats over on evo-web, and i suggest everyone keeps up to date with their corrections

I disagree, this is only an aesthetic overhaul. The real complete file will be when PLF finishes his, which will be a while i feel. With his stats expertise and many of the aesthetics i have incorporated, then the game will finally play to its full capacity. Until then i hope this keeps everyone satisfied

It is like PESFANs optionfile.. just modified.
The transfer is flawless. But the boots are not that good..
What about national teams kits? The logoes on them are not correct..
Despite this, it is a really good optionfile!!!

World cup kits haven't been done for this version

Stats however have been improved, and, as well as tweaking Ronaldinho, players who needed it much more like Joey Barton

You use the CD2mem method which is shown in a sticky thread in the General Editing section (at the top). You need a chipped or modded PS2 to use this method.

i just checked that option file and i really like it but, there are some rosters that are not updated like, the one of the nigerian and senegalese teams. i also think that you could have worked a little more on the cameroon jersey where the puma logo is not really visible. i like the new boots that u added they are pretty nice. ok see ya guys!!!

France, England, Brazil, Chech Rep., Germany, Argentina.
All other national teams just have the flag for logo.

I have the same problem with my Max Drive disc, the Slim PS2 finds it difficult to read the blue CDR most of the time. Your best bet is to just keep on resetting your PS2 until it loads, it could take 20 or 30 attempts but it will eventually work.

When you get to the first screen after the initial load open the tray and close it again, the PS2 will read the disc again and you should have no problem loading up the Data/Save Transfer utility.

well mate this is an option file, not a patch...

the varying boots with logos etc is all dependant on the boot varyations KONAMI gave us in the boot editing section....so there is no way to get the logos for many boots so i did my best...

same thing goes for national team logos. If i was to put more on i would have to sacrifice sponsor logos on club team shirts because of the limited amount of slots for such logos. I'm dissappointed that i can't get it to a complete level, but its 100% that i can do. I'm a perfectionist.

Regarding NT rosters, i said i hadn't changed them, but that isn't hard to do yourself as many players are changing all teh time in many squads...i didn't have time to keep up

Which ever one I click it close my Xport application.

great option file worth the wait, the only faults i have found so far is dion dublin is not at celtic....

also the boots are far worse than many of the other option files, however in regards to detail of squads, transfers, appearances etc thi soption file is by far th ebest.

First check that you have connected it all correctly and are using the right disk.
Then open the X-Port pc program and select to browse your memory card ('Mem Card' button in the bottom left). What happens?

People having problems with Blue bottom discs.

I put the disc in the ps2 and then turn the ps2 upside down and then turn it back on. It always works when i do this.

O yea also wat is the elastico ability. I have once scored a goal where the player crossed his left foot behind his right foot (like you see players do for crossing the ball in the Premiership) and shot with his left foot - if u get wat i mean- is that the elastico ability?!

to see the elastico, use ronaldinho for example and tap r2 3 times...then you'll see it

Good work dwevan, though I see that a bunch of the international goal keeper kits are wrong, it ok since the ones out there will all be outdated by world cup time and this call all be done if you decide to update for all the world cup kits. I can help you with the USA kits. I've already done them. I like the Best XI from version2. I know a lot of people want san paolo to be in the game but I like the idea of the best XI's.

I saw one small error in the Nantes kits. The sponsor should read "TRAVAIL TEMPORAIRE" instead of "TRAVIL". Travail Temporaire, as the name implies is a temp agency in France.

Many people post Xbox versions of their option files. I'm not sure how these are converted from PS2 optionfiles. I guess that your first step is to get a Max Drive for you Xbox first so you can transfer saves from you computer.

Same here, it's just the PNG image. I think every option file that has Rapid Vienna in it uses the same image. Nothings wrong with the option file, its the original version of the image it originated from.

Why don't you add them yourself? The reason is you can't modify balls on option files. You have to patch your game to modify stuff like that.

great file makes the game complete but there is one thing that is buging me. How where you able to change the clubs names which where already licensed. i thought that you could only edit in game with an option file and would it then be possible to change classic england into england under 21s thanks and great work

He could but if he wants the best stats database around, then PLF's is it, but PLF is releasing his own patched version and he is working with me to release a non-patched version. No one else should be using any stats from his file other than those he posts on the website

great stuff, but being new to Pes5 i've got some questions:

- when i look in edit team and look for example at the Ajax formation i see that Stekelenburg is the goalie. But when i start the Dutch league to play and then look at the Ajax formation Vonk will be the goalie.

I don't understand why the formations when playing are different from the ones you see when you go to edti teams ?

- with the option file i use i see that the players have there name above there head when playing. Where can i switch this off ?

i'm still having the problem that when i edit a team and then save the option file everything lloks good. But as soon as a then start a league and check the formation it will differ from the one i edited. Doesn't anybody else experience this ?

im new to this only just got a max drive and urs was the 1st option file which i downloaded and have to say i am really impressed the badges are gr8 so happy to actually play with the correct liverpool fc badge by the score. Also the gameplay seems to have improved to it seems more realistic unless its just me???? anyway cant wait for the next option file hopefully itll have all the promoted teams such as reading in it. any idea when ur next option file will be out i dont wanna miss it!!!!

I've downloaded this option file and its great i just gotta say that but one thing thats bugging me is in my master league team robinho is a different person and got a different position, mathieu is a different person, and babel is a different person, any ideas on how to change them bk cos i have looked through player edit and cant find how to do it, i knew the classic player would be changed but why have these changed, help would be appreciated

In an option file edited as much as this there are always going to be mistakes. Dwevans had to move a hell of a lot of players to get the teams correct. It's just one of those things...anyway im sure you're intellegent enough to get up off your fat ass and delete this guy from the rooster yourself. Or not as the case may be.

I would have used this if not for the fact that you can't edit certain players (such as Giuseppe Rossi) because for some reason they are not in their teams when looking via the Edit Player menu. ALso I would have preferred to have access to a few Classic players such as George Best and Eric Cantona.

one of the most exciting features of this OF to me is that dwevan edited the players able to do the flip-flap aka "elastico" , he says:
"You can't just give the flip flap to players as an ability...only a certain few players have it and you have to effectively swap the player you want to have it with the one who does."

what I don't understand is that dwevans said that in this OF there are 12 players who can do it: Ronaldinho, Robinho, Ronaldo, C. Ronaldo, Wilhelmsson, Ibrahimovic, Quaresma, Denilson, Okocha, Porrit, Messi and last but not least TRUNDLE.
but the original list by konami is made of only 11 players :

No, this file came out ages ago mate, February in fact. I think dwevans has stopped making option files now, although don't quote me on that.

Now i work with PLF on his file every now and again. Besides which i am now playing WE10, so i wont be much use to anyone. Maybe for PES6 i will return, but we'll have to wait and see.
