I'm going for Phat.

Nikos. You have a good defence but it could be better in my opinion although you have a good partnership in Alex and Campbell. Its annoying that you havnt got a place in your XI for Juninho(Lyon one?) as he is a brilliant player. Perhaps go for him instead of Makalele. Great Attack and midfield though.

Phatt. I love your squad and I cant think of anything :)

I prefer Nikos, because have an amazing midfield and two great goalscorers.....but Phat have a much better defense......

I'm going for Phat here. Nikos' defence leaves alot to be desired, even though you have a great midfield and strikeforce you're defence just leaves you wide open to goals in D1.

Phat has a solid defence which should be capable of keeping out Trezequet and Raul, but i doubt they will be able to do that throughout the whole match. Although Phat has a creative midfield he get's beat here. Nikos' with joaquin and simao out wide would cause all sorts of problems for phat's full backs as he doesn't have anyone to cover out wide right/left. Since Nikos has such a weak defence i can see big Zlatan and Owen getting a few goals in this match, they should have a field day tormenting that backline.

My prediction, 3-1 Phat.

Phatmann for me, an overall excellent squad.

I have PHATMANN's front 3 for one of my ML teams, however, I'll be voting for NIKOS24. He's got a better overall team.

Although Phat has a significantly stronger defence, Nikos has a superb midfield and a great deal of strength in attack. The 4-4-2 is a big improvement on past formations. The battles between Joaquin and Zambrotta, and Simao and Gary Neville would be interesting. I think Simao could cause Neville some problems. Despite being outnumbered in central midfield, I still feel Gerrard and Makelele have what it takes to put in a good showing. I'm going for a 2-1 Nikos win, despite having a weaker defence, he has more options going forward. Gerrard and Trezeguet, with Owen scoring in between.

Despite having an inferior defence, Nikos' midfielder is stronger, and he would win because of it I feel.

Nikos has quite a good team there, but Phatmann has a better one, esp the defence & forward line. Phatmann to win.

RoP vs Poffe, 11-10 I think. This is the game of the week in Division 1, though.

I'd like to see Phat modify his midfield as there never seems to be any change there. Perhaps a 1-2-1 would work nicely:

------------------Gattuso-----------------
------Seedorf------------------Nolan------
-------------------Kaka-------------------

Something along those lines as I think your midfield, as good as it is, looks a little one dimensional in it's current form.

Defensively neither team is weak, but Phat's central pair will certianly give him the edge over the course of the game i'm sure.

I think Nikos's midfield will stretch Phat's a great deal, with Joaquin and Simao going on some long tricky runs that pull other players out of position.

Upfront things are looking good for both teams but despite Phat's looking slightly more dangerous it's less likely to get great service from midfield than Nikos's forwards will.

This could easily be a draw, but i'm going to go for Nikos by virtue of his greater creativity and therefore goal threat.

This is a class game and hard to know who has the advantages. I think both set of players are equal so it's difficult you know. The cutting edge in my opininon goes to nikos24 as his Trezeguet and Raul (Goal scorer and Provider) is a better operation than of Owen and Ibrahimovic (Goal scorers).

I think Ibra and Owen would be a great partnership in my opinion. Big man and small, pace and trickery, both good finishers but Ibrahimovic is capable of holding up the ball up or flicking it on for Owen to run on to.

To say Coupet is better than Casillas is laughable.

Ah crap, 3-2 now, only an hour left :(

Phat takes this just. I think he his midfield and strikers would be more likely to break through Nikos's defense rather than vice versa. I could see a few goals being scored by both sides though as they have great attacking flare. But Phat is probably more capable of scoring an extra goal in this match.

Nikos 2
Phat 3

God, how close was I from grabbibg my first win? Ah well, good game Michael. If I lost this one, I would have lost my interest in the FL.

Mat: No, not really. It's not laughable to say Coupet is better Casillas, cmon dude, Coupet is not that bad.

On one hand, Lyon 3-0 Madrid, Madrid 1-1 Lyon. ;)

That's because the defense in front of Casillas was laughable and Juninho is one hell of a sniper.
