What programm do you use poff to do the animated sigs and avatars.And does anyone know how to change my name under the title where it says register user. how do i change that.

Poff: Ermm... very strange piece of work, not really sure what to say about it. But it has that wierd comedy factor though, thats a positive thing.
Rafa: They are alright, but they lack that certain wow factor you see in the likes of Teekay's sigs. They need a bit more depth, people keep saying read some tutorials but to be honest I don't think they help you 'that' much. Just browse the net for inspiration, renders, other peoples masterpieces etc. Get some ideas and think how you could improve it.

I think all of your sigs are good, they're all around the 8/10 point range but I think you should try to make a 9.5/10 sig, just something that's amazing.

The BG is a little empty, plus I don't like that green and blue stuff.

I wanted to do something different from a Juve player, and managed to pic one of the few other things that work out to be black and white. I'm not quite happy with it, any pointers would be appreciated, but as it's four in the morning I'm going to give it some time.
Barry: Great work, something different and its refreshing. But I don't think the background is that empty really, it seems to suit the sig nicely. I think the text could do with a bit of work but other than that you have yourself a very good sig. Keep it up mate, I'll be glad to see more from you. :cool:
Original?: I disagree with you, I think the sig is actually alright. There are some improvements which could be made but for the most part it has been executed quite well. I've never been a big fan of what seems to be a Dropped Shadow for a border, makes it look a little bit untidy and also the little Outer Glow around the main render isn't that great. But overall not a bad sig. Keep it up.
Been doing a Beckham sig today since I've hurt my groin and I'm absent from school. I'm still not sure what I think about it, but anyway might as well show it before I go to do some more Art GCSE Prep work.

I didn't actually use too much Gaussion Blur, it is mainly a bright white brush behind Beckham which has been blended. I could send you the PSD file later if you would like mate. Saves us both some time that way.

First one is all original layers, but I removed some on the 2nd and 3rd to see how it looks.
Hunter - Beckham:
Very nice sig there. Everything works well together, the colours and the render and the text. I like the brushing on Beckham, it gives the render a nice boost. I'm not fan of "grey" sigs though, I always like some colour. You should move the shape on the top behind Becks. Very good overall, maybe not your best, but still it's a fine sig.

It's okay, but nothing more really. You can do a lot better, maybe you should spend more time on those sigs. Maybe that is what it takes to make okay into fantastic. Now it's just too ordinary. I think the text takes too much attention from the render. The render is nice though, but the bg is too boring.

Poff: I quite like it, although I agree with Teekay that the main focus should maybe be the Render rather than the Text. Although it seems to look quite nice overall, one of your better sigs I think. Keep it up mate.
Barry: Something different, again refreshing. Looks very neat and smart, I would be proud. I must have a go at something other than a sig soon, maybe start with avatars and whatnot.
Teekay: My man, how do you fail to dissapoint, that work is stunning. The nice simple text seems to fit nicely, the pink shade is beautiful and the render was always going to be superb really wasn't it. Thats certainly a Hall Of Fame job mate. Keep it up.

Teekay's quickie nice border tut, looks like a border that's used by a lot of the best soccer-art artists:
1. flatten the image, Layer->Flatten Image
2. Then I duplicate the layer,
3. and go to edit->stroke
4. Put these settings there: Width 2px, colour = whatever you want, in my case it was the pink. Location = Inside, and leave the rest as they were.
5. Now set the blending mode on soft light.
6. Take the rectangular marquee tool, feather = 0px, and cut everything except the border from the pic. You might want to zoom a lot while doing this.
7. Now go to edit-> stroke
8. Same as the last time, except width = 1px, colour black
9. Voila, you now have a nice border. Good Luck.

I think the reason is so that the whole image is involved instead of just say 1 Layer.

Poffeman, I wish I could, but basically Fort Minor are also too invisible, and looks like sets of tear gases have been thrown everywhere. Reflect on what you are trying to emhpasize on, if it's Fort Minor then they should be more clearer to see. Good colours though, no doubt about that. And those graffiti in the background give a good effect, however, that's about all I can see from this distance. It's a good sig, but could have been better. And since everyone is giving a rate, I'd give it 7.5/10.

Poff: The Fort Minor sig is alright but I'm not too keen on the render being that transparent. If you wanted it to sit in the Background more then you could have maybe put it behind the Layers with brushing ? Not sure, not your best work but its not bad either. Overall, it could have been better but its alright.
Original?: Your definetely getting better mate, I enjoy watching you improve to be honest. I really like the theme, theres not too many wrestling sigs around here at all and I also like the pink colour. Only bad things I can think of are maybe a change in text, and a border. Every sig should have a Border I think unless theres a good reason, i.e. it blends into a skin etc. You get the idea, but overall its a good sig I can say. Keep it up.
Draginskin: Certainly up there with your best sigs, it is a nice sig and well executed. The variety of colours used is also eye-catching and attractive, good job with the Background. Text is alright, not that good but I honestly can't think of anything you could replace it with so can't really knock it. I like the Inter Milan emblem placed behind the render too, and the render is of good quality. Good border. Keep them coming man.

Thanks for the comment, brings a smile to my face when people like my work. Although anyone can criticise work, and you certainly can, you've come on leaps and bounds in what seems to be a very shot period on here. So hats off you my friend.
I think I prefer this V2 sig of Bret. The placing of the text suits it and with the border it definetely seems a lot neater and cleaner. Forgot to mention with V1 but I like the face of Bret in the background as well as the smooth brushing to the left of the main render. Nice work mate, keep them coming. :cool:

The backgound is a cool one, the text also works well with it. Henry looks a bit strange though. As a quick tip, you could try using colour balance layer for solouring the render, it seems to work well for me.

Teekay: Quality sig mate, the colours and the sketchy style look great. The render of Sneijder appears great, and the text looks cool, especially with the badge above. Its different and thats important, keep it up mate, and I definetely await your next masterpiece.

Poff: Quite like the Final Fantasy sig even though its the most overated game ever :tongue:. The font is really nice and its a positive thing to that it is the main focus I think since the render is some form of mushroom man. Overall its quite a good sig however it doesn't really have any depth. Keep it up and keep improving.

What I meant by depth was that the Final Fantasy sig didn't have much sense of distance. Like it seemed more flat than your usual sigs. As Barry said its hard to explain but it doesn't look like theres too much happening in the sig.

V1 is much better imo. Great sig, might be your best. At first I looked at it and I was like, whoa! The only con is that there might be too much stuff in the middle behind and around the render. The sig has nice little details all over it, which makes it really good. The blue doesn't work in V2 imo. Great job overall mate, keep it up!

Klasnic looks a bit too faded but certaintly a good base for a sig...a bit of tweaking and it will be good.
Adriano one looks good the klasnic one is going for the faded look not 100% with that effect.

Fucking hell, what a nightmare. My PC is slowly braking, I certainly won't be using Photoshop anytime soon, stupid bastard thing broke when I was doing a sig. It just blanked and wouldn't let me click anything, and when i tried to it done that fucking gay default rejection noise. And I can't click File or Edit or any of that shit at the top, it just doesn't drop down. So I'm wiping my bastard PC tonight, I can't be arsed to make anything else in Photoshop in the near future because this is just pissing me off now.
Fuck it, I Print Screened it into Paint before I had time to finish. Please ignore the fact that it doesn't say "Ronaldo" on it because it did until the cuntish thing deleted itself. Would of been great but I don't know if you've meant to but you've wrote Simao under Barca and Eto'o under Benfica. Also, the cutting on Simao's head looks a bit dodgy. With a few tweaks it could be a class sig, up to your usual high standards.

1st layer smart blur around 20.0
2nd layer motion blur soft light (angel 0, 10 pixels)
3rd layer gaussian blur screen (3,0 pixels)

I like the effect used behind Cambiasso and BG isn't bad either. Only slight thing I don't like is the repeated render of him at the right. Otherwise good wrok.
I know it's been said before but these sig's are all the same. Football render, abstract BG and nice font, no realy originality happening, let's see somthing different.

My latest, I think it came out pretty well. After I got the idea of what I was going to do it finished itself pretty fast. I had the render for a few days, but I didn't have inspiration until today. I have a strange fixation with big sigs right now :tongue: Anyways, enjoy it:

FC Barca: Nice sig, and as usual your Backgrounds don't dissapoint. Only thing I would maybe work on is blending the render into the frame because it seems to go from dark to light instantly. The render seems to have been cut nicely like, could maybe put some lighting on the render istelf to maybe help blend it in a bit more. Keep up the good work mate.
Original?: I like it, also I wouldn't really say you borrowed my style mainly due to it being lighting used etc. Plus I'd like to think I'd don't particularly have one style, I like my visions to widen if you understand. But I like the colour scheme going on, as well as the render fitting in nicely and blending well. The font you've used seems suitable too, so overall its a good piece of work and one to be proud of. Up there with your best in my opinion, I've gained a lot of respect for you over the last few months if I'm honest. Keep up the good work man, and I anticipate your next GFX work.
Poff: Looks simple but one of your better ones I think. The colour is very nice and is easy on the eye as well as demanding attention. The only thing I can really fault is the text of "Real Madrid", it could be better. Overall a nice job, keep it up.

I like your sig though, the light effect is very nice. Dont like the text, it attracts too much I think.
It's a nice cover originally, and it still is. Although I don't think it's too nice to edit CD covers without a PSD file of it.

Thanks, when I said that I'd borrowed your style, I only meant the style you'd used on the Ronaldo signature. In no way did I mean you use the same style for all your signatures, this is obviously not the case, as all your signatures seem different.

I'm only commenting on members who have commented on others' work.
Teekay: All of them are superb, my favourites are probably the Quaresma and Sneidjer ones. All unique and brilliant in their own way. I'd feel out of my depth even giving them critics. And again, thanks for my sig. ;)
Hunter: Love the Ronaldo one, really clean and original. The Cisse one is probably one of the best footballing sigs I've seen, to be honest. Your improving all the time and I'd say your nearly up there with the likes Teekay and Ash now. Ronnie one: 8/10. Cisse one: 9.5/10.
Original?: The Del Piero sig; great work and nicely laid out. Not too sure about the background, but the style and text make up for it. 8/10.
Poffeman: Love the Madrid one, it's simple but very effective. Probably one of your best. Keep up the good work, mate. 8/10.

David P: I quite like the Robinho sig but I think you could maybe erase the brick pattern off the brush. The render blends into the scene nicely and there not much to fault really, the whole sig seems to slide together suitably. Maybe the text could do with some work but thats no real hassle, keep up the workd mate.
Duggano: Don't like it sorry, but it is better than a lot of your old work. Although its really only the render that lets it down, the Bacgkround looks okay but nothing great. Your improving though so keep workign and take your time.
Not a fan of your second sig at all if I'm perfectly honest, I can see what effect you have went for but it hasn't been successfully executed. Although its all about trying different things and unfortunately it didn't pay off this time but it will soon if you keep trying.
FC Barca: That Roma sig is quite nice, but I think it would look better if it was a player in a white kit or something similar because the render doesn't match the background too well. The text is quite nice but maybe takes a bit too much attention a way from the actual render and background if you know what I mean. Keep it up mate, and well done on commenting on other people, keep that up too.
Your 'David Villa: Adidas Tunit' sig looks lush to be honest, it seems so smart and eye-catching. I love how you have adapted the background to match that of the render, i.e. the left side of the render is lighter so you make the background on that side lighter. Its a very nice render which looks to have been cut well and the effects used on it are great. Probably your best piece of work in my opinion, very nice man.
The Cisse sig isn't as good as the Villa one but still fairly good none the less. However I don't think the render effects work as well on this one for some reason, and also maybe the background colour scheme doesn't fit as well. The background is nice though as usual but maybe the colour could be changed to match the render or something of that nature. Keep up the good work.

thaks for the comment braca i use paint and this photo thing its shit though its only good for adding effects it doesnt crop or cut anything out i have to do my cutting on paint thats how the sigs i do is hard without using proper cutting tools.

Firstly, try adding a border around the outside of the signature it makes it look far neater and defined. The cutting around the group of players need some work, especially on the right hand side. Try blurring the outline of the players into your background.
[Edit] For the badge, cut round this (http://www.gazeta.ru/files/46073/0a_s_roma_badge.jpg) and then fade the badge into the background.
