Poffeman this is a good attempt as I am right into this game, the only problem I have with it is I like to see Wanda on the house in comparison to the Colossi - if you know what I mean. But its a top wallpaper all the same.

I think there is something up with my Photoshop. Every .jpg I save in it is 'corrupted', sort of anyway. I can view them fine on my own PC, but when I upload them they don't work. Anywho, I saved it again in Paint and here it is.

dragonskin: Not too keen on the green grunge effect for the Background. It looks a bit empty but overall its alright, in future could maybe add the England badge in the BG or something. Keep the projects coming though.

El Poffe: I quite like the Background, looks very swave. However as Hitman pointed out the cutting of Messi isn't the best thing and he does look a bit stretched. Could of maybe added some render effects to the main Messi render and it would blend more abit. Overall quite a good sig although the only thing lacking is unfortunately the main render.

For your 2nd sig, my comments above seem to be quite similar. The cutting on this one looks better though, but still seems a tad stretched. Overal its alright but not as good as the Messi sig.

dragonskin: Nice sig, this time round I like the grunge effect you've used. Its very effective and it blends nicely with the render, the border looks fitting for the type of sig also. I prefer V1 I'd say, mainly due to the extra bit of colour on the right hand side. The text is okay but nothing special, overall its a good sig. I anticipate your next PS work.

David P: Not a fan of the dissolved type look, not been executed greatly. I've seen you create better sigs mate. Overall I don't really like it but of course my opinion isn't going to be exactly the same as someone elses.

Deki: No offense to anyone in this thread but this Adriano sig pisses all over the competition so far. A stunning piece of work and I'm sure many on other forums would be proud to create something as good as that. The render is great, the Background is superb, the text is simple but used very effectively and looks stylish. To be honest I don't know which one I prefer, they both look excellent. But and there is often a but, something minor I think you could add on V1 and thats a little star above the main badge on the left. Nothing important I was just wondering if it will finish the piece off, suggestion really. Overall an excellent piece of PS work my friend, keep them coming.


PS: I'm currently working on a Benni McCarthy sig so I'm just hoping that it turns out well.

Simple is good when it comes to wallpapers in my opinion. I don't want something that looks like 17 different colours had an orgy on my screen.

Yeah. Use ctrl+t for free transform, and keep alt and shift pressed. Then change the proportions, and it shouldnt streched.

FC Barca: A big improvement, looks a very nice sig with simple detail but very effective. A very smart, sensible and cool piece of work. I can't really decide on what Version I like more, both good. Keep up the good work mate. You've done well. By the way how do you get the pattern of the 'Henry' text in the BG, I tried a while ago myself but couldn't nail it. Thanks.


PS: I'd very much like to see people comment on other peoples work. The majority just post a sig and completely ignore the other work above them and it silly. You don't deserve a comment unless you give one really, even if its just a simple explanation here and there.

Cheers mate, I didn't actually brush over Zambrotta I just put a low opacity cross hatch version over the top of him, it seems unpopular as Poffeman said something similar so I might go remove it and see what people think.

Like the Edited version, looks a tad better. It isn't really brushing on the render which is the problem, because half the time I see people brush a little bit on the render and it helps blend it in. But sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and in this case it unfortunately doesn't. But for someone I don't often see involved in all this Photoshop sigs you have made a very good sig. Well done mate, keep them coming as I said before, I'll be sure to comment on your next one.

dragonskin: Nice and unique. Don't see any car sigs about so its sort of refreshing if you will. Its structured nicely, set out well, and smart. Is there meant to be a big black block on the outside of it ? Would maybe look better transparent unless you are using IE, not sure. I've always liked Mustangs. ;) Good work, keep it up.

El Poffe: Better it is. However you should try sigs without the Striped Background as its becoming more common in your work. Every piece you've done in this thread so far has had some Striped BG. But as far as this one goes, definetely better than your previous Adriano sig. The font is alright but a bit too heavy if you know what I mean. Overall a good sig, just better than V1. Keep them coming Poffe.


Latest PS work, started it yesterday and I've been on and off really. Could think of what I wanted to do with it but I just wasn't experienced or good enough to pull it off so I had to adapt it a little bit. It came out alright I think but my opinion will be different to everyone elses regardless.

I'm lovin it mate, everything fits together very well, and the text flows well with the rest of the sig. You're just getting better all the time. And the subject is good, you don't see too many sigs about Benni McCarthy. I also dig the shape beside the text. The only thing that bothers me is the shirt, it doesn't look enough colourful or colourless to me. But that's just me :D

Barry: Like that Bergkamp splash alot, very nice and smart. The BG looks a little empty though but I wouldn't worry about that too much as the other parts of the work makes up for it. Overall a nice development and a good design.

I also like the PES5 cover, very old fashioned and cool. It really does look smart but I think the PES5 logo font thing looks a bit strange and out of place. Overall very nice, might even print it off and use it. :cool:

Original?: Quite a nice little design you've got there, looks clean as intended. But theres a slight downside, I think its the font which is lacking, doesn't seem so clean more jaggedy if you know what I mean. Overall though a nice piece which looks quite stylish.

Poff: Strange thing there but doesn't look bad to be honest. Where on earth you got the idea from I don't know but its certainly unique and different in a positive light. Don't really like the movie but it looks good. Overall a strange piece of work but quite good.

Kinda good, but I've noticed you use alot of Filter effects, you don't have to.
If you're going to use it, make sure it looks good, I can't even see who it is on that sig.. But you're good dude you'll be a fantastic sig maker some day.

Excellent work here TK, the effects around Thierry Henry are sublime. So cool and have that nice yellow/firey colour. You really have taken to Photoshop with excellence, definetely King on this site. Of course I'm striving for that Prince status but I could get there eventually. But thats one of your best pieces I think, looks so smart and professional. Have you ever thought of creating Graphics as a job ?

PS: I'm working on a new sig for this site, at first I thought the new size of sigs was quite good. However now I think it just limits our creativity which is kind of dissapointing. Oh well, thats what the Elite Membership is for.

I use the above picture on my website and I just fancied a change thats all.

I want the same colour, jagged edges and effect but I want a good picture of Michael Ballack instead of the Samuel Eto'o pic. I'd also like different background images blended into the back because they are a bit dated.

If anyone can do this for me it would be very much appreciated. Feel free to make changes to it if you think the banner could be better.

I dont like the background(the guy in the back on the right) and there's too much of (I cant find the words for it,bear with me) that overlaying map? on the left side. I do like how you have used it on the sig elsewhere, and the blend job is pretty good. That euh....onion brush shouldnt be overused, it still looks nice now though. Overall, not bad.

Once your finished with the sig, save it as a PSD file. But then you will want to save it as a PNG to display and show it off. But simply flatten all the layers (after saving as a PSD) then just Duplicate the Background then Edit > Stroke.

Cheers, I used the maple leaf brush, but I used a smudge technique, so no actual brushing involved. I messed with the Brush Settings of ther Maple Leaf brush, then used it to smudge several layers.
