Hi and welcome to the dGolbetrotters FC , we are a brand new Dreamteam and are looking to compete in next years league. At present we have everything needed to join the league i.e Club badge, Kits, Trainning facilities etc. So now its time to take on the staff. We wil be looking for the following positions....

Right.... the way its looking now is that Minof is settting up a team also and hes going to be the manager. Now in saying that I think I'll merge this team and his together in a hope of getting 1 good side out of it.
Players are still needed though.
P.S. The name of the team will also be changing, I just needed some thing to run with at the start to get the thread going.

Dude that sounds brill, get him to fill out the form on here or on WEM. How will he take part though on an on going basis, Minof will be selecting his team on posting merit if I know him.
Also I'd like to get an excel sheet going for all the dG stats just like we had before when JMZ made the template. Gadge has set up a new template for every one to use so I'll more than likely run with that one.

I could get him at my house every now and then and he'll create a user and everything, though he'll be using my IP address obviously until his telephone line problem can be taken care of, if that would not be a problem with the Insight or Maniac staff.

Dude its a dreamteam where each team member must create his own unique character from a set amount of points in the PES5 game. Then the squad is put together and we play other Dream teams from around the world. The games are uploaded and can't be streamed and watched on a weekly basis.

How do the Dream Teams work now? Is there a league website for them anywhere? I remember signing up for the very first one that Zyg made but i thought it kind of got scrapped. I was a big, strong, pacy centre back for that team. If anyone needs a defender then let me know.

Well everything about the league and how it is set up is explained in there so if anyone wants to know something we just point out where to find the answer instead of talking them through every thing step by step and it saves us from getting pissed off at them....

First off, what is a dream team (DT)? Well it is a fictional team made up of a collection of forum members.
Each member of the DT will create themselves in their version of Pro Evolution Soccer and post their details in a thread set up by a DT manager. These details include the player creation details such as eye colour and hairstyle etc, right down to if they like having tape around their ankles.
From that a player then needs to create his attributes by using the following list.
Outfield players Rules
1: 18 players per team
2: 2000 point limit for outfield players. 30 points minimum for all attributes bar goalkeeper skills which can be 1
3: Only three attributes within the 95-99 range are allowed.
4: Only four attributes allowed within the 90-94 range allowed.
5: 18 points for other attributes (consistency, weak foot etc.) the minimum being 2 points only.
6: Two positions only then each additional position costs 15 points from your attributes, then 30, then 60 and so on.
7: Your player may have four special abilities if his injury constitution is A, five if it is B and six if it is C.
Goalkeepers Rules
1: 1400 points total.
2: Goalkeeping ability and Response is limited to 95 points max.
3: Goalkeepers can have any other three attributes between 90 - 94 max.
4: Goalkeepers can have free-kick and Offense set to one point.
5: Goalkeepers get three special abilities regardless of injury constitution.
6: 18 points for other attributes (consistency, weak foot etc.) the minimum being 2 points only.
Consistency, Condition, Weak foot accuracy and weak foot frequency are 18 completely separate stats, they are not included in the overall 2000 points allowed.
The actual playing of a match is CPU Vs CPU only and there is no actual online play with the teams, the idea is to get members more active on the boards.
We have a league in place as well as rules to follow and the matches themselves are actually recorded and then made available for players to watch.
The best way to explain this concept is to say it is pretty much the first football role playing system created using Pro Evolution Soccer 5 as it's base.

How do you host a match?
Cap, you need to download Gamecam which is free over on the site, then you record the match and upload it on videlife or whatever you got so that others can view your matches via a link.;)

Just to let everyone know, we're sitting in second with 2 games left. WHE won the league last week so the best we can get is second which is a great position seeing as we staryed in 8th.

I wasnt too up on the whole idea what was going on but you get like 2000pts and you have to make yourself on PES5 with App and Stats. If you go to HeadHunters HQ on WEManiacs someone has posted the rulings. Then a game is played by Futix I think and then all match stats and video's are shown on the forum. This is what I have picked up by reading a few old postings.
I wasnt too up on the whole idea what was going on but you get like 2000pts and you have to make yourself on PES5 with App and Stats. Whoever is unsure of what is happening then have a look the link Dundons has posted up. Make sure that when you are creating your player that you dont exceed the 2000 points rule and also make sure you dont have about 7 x 99 stats and shit like that.
BTW, Futix dont host the matches each team has there own hoster and every week different people host different matches that way it cannot be rigged or fixed and a person that is hosting cannot host his own teams match.
The matches are recorded then uploaded onto videfile then if you wanna watch it you just press the link and download the game.

There was a problem there. I created the players and did the stats seperately and sent them off. But Soliloquay was unablr to compile the option file and I had to finish it in a short amount of time. Sorry about that guys

Well lads I hosted another game not long back and I don't know what went wrong.
The match stared and on the 8 minute mark Arca fired home a beautiful shot from outside the block to beat Valdez. Moments later Van Bommel fouls me just outside the box and Arca scores a beautiful freekick.
We were cruising for the next tem minutes we hit the post once and had a shoot cleared off the line then disaster struck. Sullivan was taken out of the game through injury. The replacement came on and within a minute Barca won a debatable penalty(huw got booked) Ronaldinho scored and then it all went wrong. We couldnt keep possesion and Barca were all over us. Ronaldinho and Deco both scored in the second half and we lost the game 3-2.
Our first half preformance was amazing and I think it will be our starting XI for next season but theat injury to me really fucked us up.
