Well done for finishing sixth, and for the 1-0 victory over Parma (that should answer your question fluke). Parma were unlucky to hit the post, but Di Canio should have maybe done better with his first chance early on. Superb goal from Rocchi ;)

:lol: Costacurta can still do a job on occasion. Gianluca Pagliuca returned to form a couple of years ago with Bologna and is currently 39. He'll be 40 in December and even secured a summer transfer from Bologna (Serie B) to Ascoli (Serie A).

I don't know. We lost two years in a row a chance for playing in the UEFA cup, one with Hearts and another with Red Star. But I hope we can finally manage to pass the qualifying round, now that we have a much better side, with players like Madrid, Zé Carlos, Marcel and João Pinto.

In other news, disgraced former club president Sergio Cragnotti is the latest to claim Alessandro Nesta wants to return to the club from AC Milan. I can definitely see it happening in the next couple of years.

Yeah, Hernanes was a steal, perhaps not on the fee he went for, but in regards to his reputation. I really hope he settles into life in the capital, I can see him becoming a top midfielder in Serie A.

Rumour that Almeida may be joining the Lazio ranks. We do need another striker I feel, there's also talk of Di Vaio aswell.
I'm pretty pleased with the few additions we've made this year, I believe Klose and Cisse will offer something completely different up top to what we had however if Reja continues to pay 1 up top then they're going to be wasted.
Obviously we lost two big players in Muslera and Liechsteiner but we should be able to cope without them.
A couple more signings would go down a treat.
Should do really well with those 2 up front to be honest, with the support of Hernanes and Zarate.
Klose will finish anything as we've seen so many times.

I think Zarate really needs to step up this season, he's been pretty disappointing in the past two seasons however so often he's been played out of position in a wide left/right supporting position so it's understandable at times. I think now with Cisse and Klose at the club we've got options up top, something we haven't had for a while.
Hernanes was impressive last season and in theory should be even more impressive this season now that he is settled. I think we're still needing a right midfielder and right back. A defensive midfielder was needed but with Cana coming in, we should be ok in that department.
They're have been rumours of Pjanic possibly joining which would be a super signing I feel, he's got alot of promise and pretty experienced for someone of his age.
