So realistically they aren't gonna get promoted this season are they? Next season maybe? I didn't think they'd be down for too long. It was all the players you had to sell that killed you off. Oh and getting rid of David O'Leary didn't help...

David Oleary got us in about 100million debt, doesnt help help that we lost the whole team, would be lucky to get through the playoffs.

An emotional Kevin Blackwell admitted seeing Leeds go through to the Play-Off final was his proudest moment in club management so far - but one he intends to better later this month.
Blackwell maintained a calm disposition throughout the game but afterwards he allowed his feelings to show as he punched the air and hugged his players following the 2-0 win at Deepdale, and now he faces either Watford or Crystal Palace for a place in the Premiership on May 21st.
He gave the credit for United reaching their first major final in ten years to the players.

"We have seen how the burden of responsibility at this club has been too much for some players, but not this bunch, they have stood up to everything and tonight they have done this club and its supporters proud.

"Fifteen months ago we were written off as a football club never mind a team and I don't think anybody, me included, thought we could get here this quickly.
"The job isn't finished, just getting to the final is not good enough for Leeds United. We have to go on and win it now because this club, these players, these fans, deserve to see their team playing at the top level again. I am determined to make that dream come true again."
Blackwell though did have cause for complaint after seeing referee Mike Thorpe send both Stephen Crainey and Richard Cresswell off for two bookable offences each, meaning they miss the final at the Millennium Stadium later this month.
After complaining about the officials on Friday evening, Blackwell had hoped a Premiership referee would be in charge, but his pleas fell on deaf ears and Thorpe proved to be inconsistent.
"I thought the referee lost it, the game went totally beyond him and I don't really know why.
"But when you're a manager these days you get fined for speaking your mind, so sometimes I need other people to say he wasn't good.
"The official has to look at himself for his own poor performance because he has denied two players the opportunity to play in a massive final. The powers that be have to sort something out, they have a responsibility to the game and I thought it was close to bringing the game into disrepute at the end.
"It's worth £40m to a club like Leeds to get into the Premiership so you need a top-notch referee and I hope we finally get one for the final."

"The fans been fantastic all season, they deserve Premiership football but there is still a hell of a lot of hard work to do and along way to go. Hopefully we'll end the season on a high note.
"But we can't go into the final thinking we're nearly there; Watford are just as determined as we are to get back into the top flight and they haven't been there for a while. Both teams are so close to the Premiership again but if anyone allows themselves to think past this game then it could be dangerous.
"We've taken a bit of criticism over the past month or two (after slipping out of the automatic promotion chase) but it hasn't really affected team spirit, in fact the more knocks you get the stronger the inner belief of the team gets, especially if you have a good changing room like we have. Minof if you considering going without a ticket do it. When I went there for Birmingham v Norwich there were plenty of tickets about plus loads of people went just for the atmosphere. There is a street of pubs in Cardiff right next to the Stadium which will be full of people without tickets - I left the Stadium during extra time and watched the penalties in the pub - the atmosphere was just as good !!!!
By the way I really wish Leeds all the best at the weekend, however I was looking forward to playing them next year as Ive many Leeds fans as friends.

Well you will have a right laugh. Just be careful on Saturday night as Cardiff can be great but there are some locals who get a bit pissed off with "foreigners" taking over their city.
As far as the match though get near the ground early in the morning and soak up the atmosphere - there wont be any trouble - and even if you dont get tickets you will have a great time I can assure you.

Marching On To Cardiff - Leeds will have the full support of over 33,000 fans at the Millennium Stadium after selling out their entire allocation for the Championship Play-Off final.
As expected, the final few tickets were snapped up on Wednesday afternoon but not before 1,800 supporters with ticket stubs from the home semi-final play-off encounter with Preston were able to acquire tickets.

Hardings been playing in the reserves mostly for Leeds this season, don`t think he played many games for the first team.
Exchanging him for Darren Currie would be a good move because Currie is a quality player, and would offer more to the team thean Harding who isn`t a first team player.
If this does happen Leeds will need to sign more defenders as we are short on them at the moment.
