Corners

Please can anyone give me some detailed help on how to take corners because I can never seem to score from them or even find my players head. Also could you tell me how to defend them well. Every time I play my mate he just runs down the wing and crosses the ball into the box and I am holding square but my player never clears it and in fact he just runs away from the ball and my mate always gets a free header.

When you are trying to clear the ball the best button to press is ><. Cause that will get the ball out of your box and sometimes it will come to one of your players feet. And when you are attacking the ball at the other end and trying to score off a corner you just have to keep tapping [] rapidly. The reason your player runs a way from the ball is because you will be pressing the direction buttons for the way you want to head it too early. Good Luck.
