Which is the best patch overall??

Hi,

I'm pretty new to this import game and have just bought myself a copy of WE:FE. I'm just wondering which is the best patch to put on to this disk??

I've seen the Dynamo one and the wedoit one and they both look good in there own ways

Which ones have all the clubs and international teams?? (probably both but i don't know).

Is one more superior for any reason?

I think the main differences are the crowd chants, menu screens and music although there are more smaller things.

Dynamo :-

1) Adboards (old-school TheBigK slightly modified by me).
2) CL Ball from WeDoIt2.
3) Boots from WeDoIt2.
4) Kits from all over -- including Korean kits, WeDoIt1 and WeDoIt2 kits, and more. The new England, Ireland, Mexico and Sweden kits are in.
5) 6 updated stadiums -- including the Amsterdam Arena Final patch by footyfan (never actually been released for download until now), Nou Camp, Highbury, Old Tafford, Olympiastadion Munchen, and San Siro Milan.
6) Various Goalie Gloves added to 34 club and national sides. For the full list of gloves, please click here.
7) Flag Removal Patch 1.1 + Referee Kits by Zidane&Figo.
8) New Menu/Replay Music (mostly Queen, with FIFA Anthem for player entrance). Please see my home page for short WAV samples of the music.
9) New Title/Logo/Menu Screens (AC Milan and Luis Figo theme).


Wedoit 3.0 :-

New players database for nationals and clubs teams (totally rebuilt)
- All teams formation data (schemes, kickers, etc.) updated to now
- 6 New club teams [Werder B., Porto, Benfica, Lyon, A.Madrid, Betis S.]
- New uniform kits for nationals and clubs [click here to see the list]
- Fix of all 105 teams uniform numbers/names colors & styles
- Fix of: Scotland uniform front number
- Fix of: radar bullets colors
- New real chants for all the teams
- Edit of grass design for all the stadiums (excepts 3)

although not all of this is true in wedoit. The clubs are the same as original.

The teams are the same in both, but the kits are slightly different.

I like those two, Dynamo and Weodit, except for the music but change that yourself. :)

I really like Dr Xrays EPL patch (19Mb) looks really nice and gives you Premiere and Div 1 teams. Again, the music needs altering. You need to get the Dr Xray flag patch too to add the national flags as the patch makes them blacked out, then it's almost perfect. Well till V2 comes out...;)

Dr Xrays stats are shocking, worse me being over critical of the division 1 sides. I watch them week in week out and they are not that poor. Most of the menu screens need a change, I'm gonna hope he improves the stats for phase 2. But there is always the English Evolution, whenever that makes an appearence. :)

EDIT: I'm still supporting the Lusowedit team, they take editing to the next level, and although I'm not a fan of portuguese football these guys make serious patches.

Stats are not that big a concern to me, well not yet at any rate as I mostly play 2 player. Maybe when I get my technique down properly and start an ML. I did notice the Div 1 sides were pretty low rated though.

Which menu screens? I already changed mine as they weren't to my taste unless you mean translation?

Sorry, I meant purely about looks regards Dr Xray patch. I must say tho that Lusowedit does look very nice.

I play a fair amount of 2 player, but I have friends who also support division 1 and 2 teams and are amazed how some of the stats are the way they are.

Find me someone who actually found the menus to their taste :D

Kits wise, a fair few were off evo-web in the first generation of kits, there was a big backlash over it.

You did bring up the other good point of Menu translation as I believe he was using the 70% devil ken translation as a base.

Doesn't the SLPM and Parameter.ovl files on his (Dr Xray) site help? It says they are up to date to 3/18/03, or they just the same really?

PS, can the Lusowedit patch be used as an add-on or does it translate it into English itself?

Not too sure I gave up on Xray after I saw the state of the Watford team to be honest.

Also not too sure how the lusowedit boys are going to do their patch, no doubt it will be in spanish but possibly an english version too.

Well, i havnt used it yet, but there are 3 Portugese teams in the beta. they have made the real stadiums for these 3 teams. the real version will feature 10 portugese teams

Menu music - eye of the tiger, hearts on fire, 21 questions, get busy, bring me to life.
Replay - boom
Entrance - goldberg theme
Demo - Gonna fly now
Formation screen - in da club

Menus all changed, to more of my own taste
Adboards - select buckethead ones
Ball - geo merlin
Boots - Shinji Ono V1
Some updated kits from evo

Watford replaces Chievo :)
Still working on replacing other teams.

That's the current disk in my machine, but it could change with the sudden rush of club patches available soon. :)

It's not too bad once you get the hang of it, Pared guide on evo-web was useful.

I changed the menu pictures but none of the little graphics in the game, but hopefully I'll might edit some of them if I get time. :)

GFK - wedoit 2.0 boots are good don't get me wrong, but I prefer shinji ono's, he's a pretty good boot specialist.

Dynamo and wedoit 3.0 might have conflicts, you could always use one as a base and extract whatever you want from one and put in the other. Yep you can apply the latest solidus.

There is Dynamo's (which seems to be down most of the time now), TCrew, Lomungtung's and that's about it. Dynamo's is the best for everything (kits, balls etc etc), but it's very hard to got on to.

In dynamo you have licensed boots??? Adidas predator are in dynamo or iam i wrong???

Dynamo uses wedoit 2.0 boots if I'm not mistaken, shinji ono and crew develop and enhance based on real boots and produce some really impressive stuff, you should check them out.
